After a couple of weeks of heavy rain the course was in great condition.
It was the first time I had played the course and on arriving found the pro very welcoming, a good range of equipment in the shop. A lovely locker room to change and then on to the course.
The first was a long par 3, the course was in very good condition for any time of the year, but especially good given the previous couple of weeks of heavy rain. There is such a good variety of holes with dog legs in both directions, changes of elevation and great views.
After the round we tried the bar which is spacious and light, with a decent selection behind the bar, there's also a snooker room and great views out over the course.
Should you need them there are practice nets before you play along with a decent putting green and a separate chipping area.

Nice course well maintained. Loved the bacon rolls. Some holes are quite difficult and the wind and rain was a factor

A challenging course, which is well laid out. Quite hilly and interesting. The course was in excellent condition, especially given all the rain recently; just 3 temprary tees. Greens and fairways in top condition.

Well maintained and run
Played here today in a mixed open event. A great welcome and service from the moment we arrived from the staff and member volunteers, to the moment we left.Course in great condition with quite a few interesting holes and some lovely views from the holes that go up into the neighbouring hill. The greens were stunning and lightning quick. Well done to all the green staff. Was treated to a brilliant 2 course carvery afterwards in the relaxed but tidy clubhouse.
Would definitely consider a return visit here and the members and staff should be proud of their course

Terrible weather
Probably not the ideal conditions to judge as we had to contend with howling wind and frequent heavy showers. However a nice course. Hilly. Greens quicker than they look. Often a good walk between some greens and the next tee so total walking distance was 6.4 miles.We started on 10th so the last two holes (8&9) are both par 5's. Would like to revisit when the weather was calmer and less damp. Definitely will be better informed second time around .

Played for the first time today in very good conditions. Some very interesting holes which I would play differently with the benefit of course knowledge. Greens fairly quick, fairways generally good. Some bare areas and many areas of GUR. Sand quite variable in bunkers. Food very good.

Fab course great greens and tee boxes, not your standard course with most greens needing a good thought through putt to get it down.

Played in the County Seniors Championship, so the course was presented in very good order. Apart from having to look out for an abundancy of rabbit holes around the course, tees, fairways, bunkers and greens were in good condition. Some strange holes which take some working out how to play, and on that it is probably a little easier if you've played it a few times, or if you play with a member as I have done in the last two County Seniors here.
Clubhouse is large, and I've always found the members to be quite accomodating, but treat as you find.

What 9 HOLE! never played a better one that is more challenging and a great entry into golf. Some really tricky greens also
