What the club says: The course was designed by Charles Lawrie and it opened for the first time in 1973. It has developed brilliantly in that time and is one of the finest courses in the region, a fact its numerous members will no doubt back up. It's a fine test of golf no matter how you play the game, and so is well worth playing.

Very good.
The course is in very good condition presently. It isa fair course for mid-high handicaps. I play off 24 and
as long as I stay fairly straight it is pretty straightforward.

nice local course
easy to book, lots of available tee times, still open and allowing trolleys despite recent rain, no winter greens, nice course, not too difficult for a 28 h/c, cheap, nice club house - what's not to like about all of thatReviewer Rating

Great day
We had a 20th Anniversary Society Day and we're well looked by the course and club team. The course was in much better condition after the recent rainfall with the greens in conditionReviewer Rating

not bad for municipal
Better than expected for a municipal, especially given the dry conditions. Greens have been well watered and whilst they wont challenge Augusta were ok. Bunkers had adequate sand which is often overlooked. Tee areas needed some attention with deep divots which needed filling and seeding.Reviewer Rating

Good Nick?
Good condition, although the greens were not as good as usual. Rough in places was longer than expected and tricky to escape from.Reviewer Rating
