A winter pleaser
I decided to give this a go as the last time I played here must've been at least 20 years ago. I would say that things have progressed quite well and from the wrong turn as I entered the driveway (don't go left, go straight on) I think if memory serves me right they had a porter cabin on the first tee when I last played and once I found the clubhouse sign, it was obvious if a big van wasn't obstructing the sign. I haven't booked but the lady in the clubhouse said that if I was quick enough I could get in front of a booked teatime and begin my round which I duly did. All tees were on Mats, Which was a good decision as you could see all the tee boxes nicely growing grass for the upcoming season. An easy course to play quite straightforward and flat as others have said but playing into the wind made it much longer I would definitely like to play here when it is a bit firmer.Reviewer Rating

Good condition
Played 2nd December, was pleasantly surprised by condition of course following snow a few days earlier and then rain previous day and very cold. Fairways firm and fairly short giving some ball run. Greens in good condition, firm and true. Also not busy so a relaxed round.Reviewer Rating

Entertaining course
I've played at Six Hills twice in the past six weeks , having not played it before. The name is somewhat ironic, given that it is pan-flat, but I'm not holding that against it. I think it is an entertaining, but rather easy course;,ideal for higher handicaps. There are 4 very short par 4s (under 300 yards off the Yellow tees), but some balance is provided by a good range of lengths on the par 3s and par 5s which are a good length, particularly the 570 yard 18th, which really kicks if you're having a bad round. The rough is mostly light, but with tree lined fairways on most holes, you still want to keep it straight; the greens have played well, and have good bunkering. Will definitely return.Reviewer Rating

Good Course
Good and interesting course for players with mid to high handicaps. Weather had been severe before we arrived but the course handled it very well (May have been due to the very hot conditions earlier in the week). We will go back.Round played: June 2020

No need for a driver and a couple of par 4 holes reachable in 1!
Confidence giving and not too strenous.
Easy off the tee so the wnd shot is usually ok and makes your score.
Let down by poor 241 offer only available on 36 holes which they didnt say on booking!!

Good course
Steady flat course, easy to walk. A good challenge. Some rough areas left uncut making play virtually impossible. All trees need the grass strimming making the course look untidy. No waiting on tees, so quick round.Reviewer Rating
