What a little gem of a course and at £10.50 with a 2-4-1 (after 1pm) its an absolute steal! We played during very indifferent weather, but the course was still really good. The fairways are quite forgiving if your a little wayward and the greens were imaculate and ran true. A well looked after course. Views on some of the back nine holes are superb. Its true about some of the previous comments regards the the back 9, it is fairly hilly, but walkable. And a Defibrillator should be stored half way up the walk from front 9 to back 9, the hills a steep walk alright, but well worth it as for me the back 9 is better then front. Overall a really well thought out course and well worth a visit.

Superb flat front 9, followed by a ridiculously hilly and scenic back 9. Excellent green-keeping makes this a joy to play.

Difficult back 9 if not fit! Also a good par 3 18 hole course for beginners.

Love this course! Front 9 are pretty flat, but the back 9 more than make up for it.

An ordinary start with 5 unremarkable par 4's on the trot but this warms you up for more interesting challenges thereafter. Back 9 is great with elevated drives down onto fairways using the contours of the hill. Two interesting par 3's on the back nine and par 5 13th is a real cracker. Played under the twilight offer of £10 for the round which is great value.

A course of two halves. Front nine is flat but decently laid out, no real stand out holes but do enjoy the par 3 6th with a big green well below the tee.
Back 9 is very hilly, always assuming you get up 'cardiac hill' - they sometimes have a buggy there to carry people up because it can be a bit of a workout. Some real tempting drives down onto fairways and a really tricky par 3 17th.

Usually in good condition considering it is at one of the highest points in Nottinghamshire. Have actually played when the greens have been completely frozen half inch below the surface!
