The course is brilliant. For a high handicapper like me the fairways are very forgiving seeing as I have a tendency to slice of the tee. There are some long holes with challenging bunkers and I got to play in most of them which was fun and challenging too. I?d recommend this place and will be back, we played the championship course and it's long but very good. Great facilities for warm up putting and chipping, could do with somewhere to warm up the driverReviewer Rating

Played ‘the Premier’ on Sat 18th Nov, paid £30.There wasn’t much ‘Premier’ about it.
Don’t waste your money, course was an absolute shambles, it should of been shut. Was like playing in a mud bath.
Poorly stocked pro shop, and lack of course info pre Tee off.
Probably better in the summer but I won’t be back. Shame.

OK but wouldn't return
Stayed for 3 nights with 3 rounds of golf on championship and premier courses, hotel was decent and food good. Both course the tee boxes are shocking, uneven and like teeing up on poor fairways, the Premier course has the better layout with some nice holes but the greens were poor, the championship course was OK and greens abit better but even before the summer the greens and course was baked hard. Playing into greens was abit of a lottery with some strange bounces. All in all it was OK but I wouldn't return.Reviewer Rating

What a shame.
Played yesterday. Course was a shambles. The greens looked like bad fairways and the actual fairways looked like the rough.

The greens are a credit to the green keepers, however the members need to understand the golf rules (5 hour round) in a 2 ballReviewer Rating
