Nazeing Golf Club
Epping, Middle Street, Nazeing, Essex, EN9 2LW United Kingdom
Attractive parkland coarse at 6,617 yards long with an SS of 72. The coarse has been constructed to the highest USPGA specifications,
Water hazards feature on many of the holes, especially the long par 3 13th that remind visitors of the famous hole at Pennina. Despite the numerous hazards, well struck shots are always rewarded by the receptive nature of the slick undulating greens.Book a Tee Time

played Saturday 1pm, we used 2 fore 1 vouchers so only payed £14.50 at that price on a weekend is fantastic value. Has some very tricky holes with water on many, my favourite hole was the 13th a par 3 at over 220 yards with water down the right side and trees down the left so you have to hit straight and even if you make the green its tricky as the green is slick and undulating, a great test of a hole no matter what handicap you play off, will defo play this course again...!!!

A very good and well maintained coarse .It has many different holes with some open fairways and some tight fairways with many greens surrounded by bunkers or water. We played on a saturday afternoon using our two for one vouchers and payed £14.50 probably the bargain of a lifetime.I think this is a lovely coarse which we will play again even though i played poorly and had to pay my mexican bandit friends plenty of £££££ at the end of the game.

I play regularly at Nazeing as my group hold corporate golf sign sponsorship. I really like the layout of the course and it always holds a good challenge. The fairways are generous enough if you are a little off line whereas really bad shots will be punished by rough or water. The toughest holes to score well are 1st, 6th, 8th, 13th 14th, 18th. Recently it has been very busy which has resulted in some slow rounds ( we generally tee off Saturday early afternoon) but usually our fourball gets round in just under 4 hours. All in all I would recomend Nazeing as a course to try out to any fellow Golfshakers.

Great course but, difficult to get on as a visitor at the weekends since the members from Chadwell Springs moved here on mass.

Nice course. Worth playing and good value. Interesting experience! Big signs everywhere in the car park NO CHANGING IN THE CAR PARK... etc all very nice, then you play go into the club house....Reluctant bar staff who seemed very very inconvenienced by us ordering food. The noticeable thing was the people in the bar.. who looked like regulars... "f this F*** that F*** F*** F*** is all you hear. . . We had my friends son with us. Not pleasant and ironic when they are so seemingly posh.. mmmmm. . Next time i think we'll change in the car park!

Played this course a few times but not added cards. Can be a tough course if not hitting well.
In the rain some holes get a bit soggey but dont get put off it is still in good condition.
Offering two for ones always gets the players out!!

An excellently kept course. Each hole is uniquely different. It is very well kept and a good test for the amateur golfer.

Played at Nazeing yesterday and the course was a bit scruffy in places. Some of the fairways needed a cut and the sand in the bunkers our 3 ball visited were like concrete. Greens were quite fast and non receptive which was a surprise in mid April.
This is a shame as I played here a few times last year and the course was always immaculate.
Not a bad course just a bit bland in places. My favourite hole is probably the 1st a sharp left hand dog-leg par 4 (414 yards) with a pond on the left catching any hooked tee shots. Big hitters can carry the pond leaving a short iron or wedge into the green.
Signature hole is probably the par 3 11th. 182 of the back tees with a pond on the right adjacent to the green and out of bounds on the left. Not playing it's full length at the moment as the mens tees always seem to be in front of the ladies!
Good value for money on a Monday as it only costs £15 rising to £25 that we paid on Friday.
Has nice putting green and good driving range sited on the way to the first tee.
Worth a visit especially early in the week.
