What the club says: The Arden course is one of the country's most spectacular challenges and host to a succession of international tournaments, including the 1997-1999 One-2-One British Masters, 2000-2002 English Open and the 2003 British Masters. It also has one of the European Tour's most distinct signature holes in its 18th; a Par 3, 202-yard hole overlooking the fishing lakes and resort.

The Aylesford Course; Golfers of all abilities will find the shorter Aylesford course a varied and enjoyable challenge. Kept to the same high standard as its celebrity sister, both courses offer a good chance that the friendly local deer will wander on to the course in this majestic countryside setting.

Great facilities, course in good condition. Greens quick with good roll. For a 2nd course there are some challenging holes. Will visit again, recommended.

I play a lot of different courses during the year and this is definitely the longest and toughest course I get to play. The greens are hard and fast so beware the 3 putts! (I won't admit to how many I had) There are 6 long par 4's which at more than 410 yards on average i find hard to reach in 2 and par ....but the four par 5's are all 'par-able' to compensate. But the par 3's are the signature holes and I think difficult for most of us mid-high handicappers. Arden is a gorgeous course and has to be played. the fairways are lush. My only disappointment was all the deer sat down instead of roaming across the fairways (they obviously heard about my new driver so were taking cover !) Score 93 (Handicap 14)

Played after heavy rain previous 24 hrs and course held up really well. Bunkers had plenty of sand and greens were quite quick considering weather.

wow! what a course. we played a 4 ball and rarely lost a ball and no one holding us up but still took 5 hours. it is a good 6 mile walk. but the views are amazing. Having to wait for a herd of deer to cross your fairway, or a stag deer on the green telling you who owns this place!! you can't buy that experience. even in winter the framing of the fairways and greens is just lovely. worth packing your camera in your golf bag. Just wish I brought my A game but will definitely be back. Club house facilities are second to none but a bit pricey.
