What the club says: The Arden course is one of the country's most spectacular challenges and host to a succession of international tournaments, including the 1997-1999 One-2-One British Masters, 2000-2002 English Open and the 2003 British Masters. It also has one of the European Tour's most distinct signature holes in its 18th; a Par 3, 202-yard hole overlooking the fishing lakes and resort.

The Aylesford Course; Golfers of all abilities will find the shorter Aylesford course a varied and enjoyable challenge. Kept to the same high standard as its celebrity sister, both courses offer a good chance that the friendly local deer will wander on to the course in this majestic countryside setting.

Course in great condition, a few pitch marks on the greens but nothing too serious.

Played both courses over the weekend. Both in excellent condition with very fast greens. The greens on the Arden course in particular are tough to read. The Arden was tough but fair and a good but enjoyable test. The Aylesford was also good to play and a good second course. Really worth a visit.

all good , staff all very helpful and friendly, course in good condition except some greens had been raked others hadn't this made for inconsistent putting surface but course has to be maintained. always a good day here.

I play at the forest of Arden quite a lot and both courses most of the time are in excellent condition and a good test of your golf the aylesford course is more for the mid to high handicaper with a some great holes to keep you interest, the Arden course is a good test for mid to low handicapers the front 9 keeps you interested with some challenging holes especially the 9th hole and then on the back 9 you can open up with some generous fairways with some tough approach shots and with deer roaming around you it's a great sight to see.The greens are a good test of your putting skills with some miss reads thrown in,all in all a course well worth playing, the staff in the pro shop are friendly and the starters are very friendly, down to earth and run a tidy shop
