What the club says: The Arden course is one of the country's most spectacular challenges and host to a succession of international tournaments, including the 1997-1999 One-2-One British Masters, 2000-2002 English Open and the 2003 British Masters. It also has one of the European Tour's most distinct signature holes in its 18th; a Par 3, 202-yard hole overlooking the fishing lakes and resort.
The Aylesford Course; Golfers of all abilities will find the shorter Aylesford course a varied and enjoyable challenge. Kept to the same high standard as its celebrity sister, both courses offer a good chance that the friendly local deer will wander on to the course in this majestic countryside setting.
lovely course and settings, dry weather, a couple of holes being refurbished

Some of this would be down to the weather, having played 7 days in a row in shorts and polo, this eighth day it was set to rain, and it did. This does not however explain why the greens were so slow, and inconsistent.
Fairways and bunkers were in good condition, which I expected when I saw 9 greenkeepers working on a single hole. This is obviously paid for by the green fees (£80 weekdays and £90 weekends). I can honestly say it is NOT worth this level of fees. When finished, I thought I would at least see a decent lunch considering the cost, instead of which we got sandwiches and chips - I left immediately and will NOT BE BACK.

Good as the weather has been bad. Greens been hollow tined so putting even more of a challenge

(Round played: Dec 2015 - Score: 82 Handicap: 11.8)
Very testing par 3's (into the wind).
Bunkers were in perfect condition, plenty of sand and cut sharply. The fairways were as good as some greens I've seen recently!
The greens had been spiked probably earlier that week, but ran true and were still quick enough, although i can imagine in the summer they are lightening fast!

amazing course with fantastic holes and extremely well kept! Watch out for the marshalls though, they're grumpy.
(Round played: Oct 2015 - Score: 107 Handicap: 24.8)
Part of weekend deal, great course and hotel would visit again and recommend to all.
(Round played: Sep 2015 - Score: 96 Handicap: 25.2)
The sort of course you love to play
(Round played: Sep 2015 - Score: 95 Handicap: 14.2)
The front 9 is played close to the motorway, so expect back-ground noise.
An enjoyable round of golf

Amazing course, stunning views. A must play
(Round played: Sep 2015 - Score: 112 Handicap: 24.1)
Many similarities (yet much better value) to the Brabazon I feel.
