What the club says: Stonebridge Golf Club is a beautiful 27 hole parkland golf course located in Meriden, Warwickshire, in the centre of England. Having opened in 1996, the course and facilities here at Stonebridge make us an ideal choice for leisure and corporate golf, fine dining and business meetings and events.
The course has 27 holes built across three loops of nine holes, providing golfers with three different courses, each with their own characteristics and offering their own challenges. As a measure of the quality of the course and our venue, Stonebridge also played host to the PGA Europro Tour, providing a test for some of Europe's leading professional golfers. We are also a Golfmark-accredited club, which recognises junior and beginner friendly golf facilities.

The course was challenging although the Hampton Course is definitely the better 9 holes, the only shame really is that all the holes weren\'t up to the same standard as a couple of older holes were needed to lead you away from the Club house and back again. The better holes on the Hampton are a kind of inland links and they are newer than the rest of the course. On the whole course the greens were in good condition with the ball running true and relatively fast. There were a few bare and scrub areas off the beaten track but to be honest I wouldn\'t have noticed them if it weren\'t for my bad golf taking my to see them in detail! If I was being critical, then I felt that the balance of holes was not quite right, the Hampton was too short with no par 5s and little opportunity to tempt me into a driver (I didn\'t need the extra length) which was a shame, while the Somers course is about right.
I only visited the club house briefly, the pro shop looked to be ok, not the biggest or best stocked but certainly not the smallest or worst. The bar was ok if a bit pokey and the bar staff were a bit slow and lack luster.
Would I recommend that someone plays it, well yes, I will go back and at £16 with a member for 18 holes it is good value. £25(ish) without a member is perhaps a bit steep.
