Not a good course for any handicapper. Greens so poor, impossible to read and far too sandy. Slight improvement on the new 9 holes but still not great.
Won't be playing there again.

I enjoyed the course but not my game. Course is generous to high handicappers. I didn't lose a ball until the 10th (which took two!!). Most of the course and all of the greens were in good nick. There was some standing water in places but I think all courses would have been the same on that day. If I am back in that neck of the woods with the time I would play again.
I didn't use the club

Played all 27 over the past few rounds & found them equally challenging. Great value for money compared to other local daily fee courses. Greens always in wonderful condition. Very friendly service from the bar & pro shop staff.

Good, challenging 27 hole facility. Greens were excellent & there was work going on to build new tees to improve / lengthen the course. Plenty of hazards to keep your attention.
Pro Shop staff very attentive & knowledgable. Clubhouse is very friendly with Sky Sports Golf playing throughout the day.

I much preferred this course when it was 18 holes. I have now played the new layout of 27 holes on 5 occasions & I have had to queue to tee off on the 10th hole sometimes behind a 2 ball & a 4 ball, very poor organising. Do 27 hole courses ever work?
Club house very friendly, decent food & drink at a reasonable price.

Played the longest 18 holes (Hampton & Somers) and fully enjoyed the round. The four links holes on the Hampton are brilliant, to find holes like this in the middle of the country is quite unique. The greens and bunkers were good although they didnt get a flash flood early in the round, following 30 minutes of heavy rain. The Somers course gives you good oppertunities to pick up shots on some of the par 5's but then take them back on a long par 3 and some tough par 4's. When we came in we were considering going back out for the other 9 holes but decided against it.

Played the Hampton and Somers courses for only a tenner last week and found it to be a well maintained course with a good clubhouse. It has rained very heavily the night before so some of the fairways were squelchy but the greens were good. Fantastic value, give it a try.

First time I've played the 9 holes (Hampton/Blythe) very enjoyable, like the layout, has a links feel to it. The course was a bit wet but the greens were dry and fast. This made chipping on to them very difficult. For a Sunday the course was busy but we never had anyone pushing us and it was not till the last few holes that our 3 ball caught up with the 4 ball in front. Worth playing.

Flat and uninteresting 3 x 9 hole layout. Greens were in fair condition but fairways let it down a bit. Good value if booked through tee times online, otherwise a bit pricy for what it is.

new 9 holes are awesome inland links style, course is average in length but you need to hit it solid from the tee box, eg like the 3rd hole on the hampton water and hedges everywhere, greens were very good for late nov (08) were even thinking about joining as they do decent deals at present

Nice place only played once and had a good game which usually means I like the place. Has 3 loops of 9 and I played the shorter two and it did feel like a short course which makes a change as you get a variety of shots off the tee.

A decent course, now has 27 holes, some of the changes made some of the original 18 holes not as good as before. Greens are usually in good condition and quite quick. The green to next tee positions on a couple of the new 9 holes are not too clear. Mon-Thurs rates good value for visitors.

Stonebridge hosted a society event for us. Has good practice facilities - the range plays straight into a lake.
There are 3 9 hole courses, effectively giving 3 different 18 hole challenges.
Needs to mature a bit.
