Really enjoyed my round here as it suited my game.Fairways fairly open and even if you drift off line you can recover most of the time. Some good holes, especially 2 of the par 5's and the feature hole at the 18th over water.Very pleasant experience.

a strong lay-out in pleasant surroundings! give it a few more years to mature and the west mids will be a cracker! some good birdie opportunities, but found the greens a tough challenge, some of my approach shots into the greens "bounced" straight threw! very hard underfoot. but that just added to the challenge of the course. the 18th is a stunner and worth the green fee alone("parred it")
a great day out & you won't be dissappointed!!!!

Facilities are very good and staff friendly and helpful. The course is well laid out and they have used the lakes well. Not as much rough as usual and the fairways in places are wide and forgiving. The bunkers are well placed and very deep. The greens were in top condition and gripped the ball so well even with 5 irons in. 90% of the greens were smooth but there was the occasional bump.

I would play here again though in a heartbeat just for the 18th alone. If you are looking for a society day then this is the course. Everyone in the bar/patio watching you tee over 140 yards to a small island green is a unique feeling.

If you live in the midlands play this coure, you wont regret it.

Overall a good course for a competition, can't really see anyone murdering it. Needs a bit more time to mature, a few water logged patches and ongoing groundwork but makes good use of the space. Fairways are wide and pretty forgiving of wayward drives but the greens were soft enough to hold pinged in mid-irons, although they were a bit bumpy and not as true as they could be so can be difficult to read for long putts. The surroundings are a bit scruffy in places but overall nicely kept. 18th definately not for the indecisive.

Good course and quite a challenge. Plenty of water (mostly lateral), tighter than it looks in most places and if you're off the fairway it can be a challenge to find your ball. Greens pretty consistent but quite subtle and break more than you think. Worth a game.

The course has had time to mature and is in fine condition greens still need some work and the sat nav on the buggies is a help to high handicap golfers.

Very good course, quite a bit of water on the front 9. Back 9 is more open and slightly easier until you get to the signature 18th island green. Very picturesque
