Played the Aylesford course. Short and quite flat but laid out really well and in excellent condition. Greens were lighting quick.
Only a couple Par 5's and Par 3's unspectacular but good variety of Par 4 holes. Okay to bring the Driver out on pretty much most holes.
Staff in pro shop were friendly and starter also. Hut between 10th and 11th hole with vending machines was a life saver.
Would definitely recommend and play again.

The course was in excellent condition. True, slick greens and consistent sanding in the bunkers. The back nine just gets my vote over the front, mainly due to a couple of superb par fives and the over-the-water par 3 finish, and it's simply better looking what with the bracken, mature trees and roaming deer. The only downside was the buggies - they cost an eye-watering £40. Have to disagree with the previous review of the sister course, The Aylesbury. Myself and my playing partners found it flat and featureless, and when the round finished none of use could recall a single memorable hole. Tight fairways and punishing rough, but completely lacking in character.

Cracking course, 07:00 tee time, nobody else on the course. Worht getting up early to have a course like this to yourself. Absolutely fantastic challenge, wonderful fairways and good greens..... £50 a round is just too much though.....

Aylesford course is not a patch on the Arden. The Arden is a good test, with water playing a part on many holes. Well set up, good facilities, it was worth the money when included as part of a golf break.

Played here in a society day when we got a very good price, and this made it exceptional value for money. Played the Arden, marginally the better of the two courses. Some excellent holes and some OK but generally a better back 9. All the greens were in superb condition, not particularly fast but very true could pinged from a distance with some grab - considering it was August this was pretty good.Loved the 8th and 18th par 3's both over water, and would have been a bit more enjoyable if I could have got the driver to work!
Usual eye-watering prices from a Marriot clubhouse. Top tip though, the bacon rolls from the halfway house (just a stones throw from the clubhouse) are half the price!

Certainly a Course you have to play
An amazing course which is now in excellent condition and looking great. Played here on Sunday 12th may and although still early in the year it is looking superb for the coming summer.Reviewer Rating

Nice track with some challenges

Good Course to Visit
On a very damp day we faced hollow tyneed green second cut thick heavy rough, followed by wind and rain. Definitely not the best day to visit .Some hidden traps on the back nine if you have not played hear before.
