It?t a shame the course is not up to the standerd that is fitting the course.the greens are spotie and the bunkers are crap weeds lak of sand terrorible could be a very good course if it was maintained

Burnt Course
The course itself is well laid out but that's all I can say for it. The fairways were burnt and didn't seem cut. The greens were also burnt with weeds growing in them in places. On two wholes the sprinklers were going as well. On the backs of greens there are fake owls ( i guess for deterrents) Yet on the poles that these are attached too on some holes are also dead blackbirds !!! ( I'm not vegan)Reviewer Rating

This could be a very good and challenging course if the money is put into it. Even at this time of year you can play for £7:50 with a member just to encourage you to play. But sand in badly kept bunkers is non existent and if you leave the fairway and first cut its goodbye ball. However its the same for all and its a game of golf so for £7:50 its strangely worth it.

Very poor condition - no sand in bunkers, greens very bumpy with big holes - needs plenty of TLC.

From afar the course looks great. On turning up you can see the variety of holes and challenges offered by the trees and the valleys. However, by the time you get near the first green or bunker then you can understand why it is only £14 a round.
The bunkers have as much grass/weeds as the fairway and in the end we just took our balls out when we went in as they were unplayable. The greens are worse than what you would get on a par 3 course. At times you may as well pick your ball up when you get to the greens as they are such a lottery covered in holes and divots or big clumps of thick grass.
This is a real shame as this could be a really good course and the staff were really friendly. If this was improved I would have no hesitation in returning again soon.

Course needs some work. Greens very rough condition and lots of out of bounds in random places. Lots of better kept courses at better value in local area.

The fairways needed a cut and the greens were very bobbly. The location means several of the holes are very similar, down to the river, lay up, back up to the green. The up and down meant it was a tiring one for the older golfer. The astroturf cart paths were deadly after overnight rain, two of our party slipped and fell on them. Need a bit of investment.

Tired
Really needs some investment, esp. the paths, plus some aiming markers would help visitors. A tap somewhere on the course would be handy during 30 degree rounds!Reviewer Rating

Not in brilliant condition but they are clearly working hard to improve the course and all facilities. Decent value for money - non-member walked on for £13.50, twilight. Setting is very nice, greens need more work. Not a long course - opportunity to get a really good score if you play well.
