We have two 9-hole courses designed to offer the best choice for beginners and intermediate players alike, The Oaks & Acorns offer fantastic golf for all standards.
The Oaks Course is a full length 9 hole layout (Par 36, 3128 yards) with bunkers, lakes and trees lining the fairways and greens.
The Acorns course is 9 holes designed for the beginner. The holes are a mixture of par 3s and Par 4s which offer a challenge for all golfers. The more experienced golfer will be able to improve their iron play and short game skills on every hole.Book a Tee Time

Location: We are located on the outskirts of Witham, just 2 miles from the A12 between Chelmsford and Colchester. From Chelmsford exit the A12 at Rivenhall End by the Rivenhall Fox pub, or from Colchester by the Ramada Jarvis Hotel, signposted Silver End. Turn left at the T-junction, in Rivenhall turn left into Rickstones Road signposted Witham, and Forest Road is 1 mile on the left hand side.

This is a useful 9 hole course to go round for a bit of practice or when other courses are closed. Not one for the low handicapper looking for a challenge. Facilities are basic but functional (thereare no lockers). Friendly, helpful staff.

I have been a member here since May 2009 and have always enjoyed my Golf the courses are always very well kept and the staff are friendly.
I would recomend this course to anyone from beginer to an old pro .

Rivenhall Oaks's 'The Oaks' is a very nice well built course. The holes are from 163 yards to 482 yards. This well maintained course has a mixture of bunkers, water traps and hidden hills. Good for all the family!!! :D Although not going on the Acorns, I have heard its a much harder yet very skillful and entertaining course! Enjoy :D

The Greens have just been spiked, aerated, sanded etc and after only a week are getting back to where they were. A very good, open course. Fair to all. The greens are always in great condition - very true. And the rough is being kept under control so that is good for the average golfer.
Not a difficult course regarding bunkers; water hazards; narrow fairways etc., but enjoyable.
Harry and the food team make a lovely all-day breakfast and coffee.
The practice facilities regarding the driving range are excellent.

Basic course, good clubhouse and facilities. Probably wouldnt bother going back as there was no real individuality and only 9 holes.
