What the club says: Not many courses have it all: a Championship quality course, a hundred years of Club history, stunning scenery, and the warmest of welcomes on the course and in the Clubhouse. Boasting an 18-hole Championship Course with a pleasant blend of parkland and links, Maesdu Golf Club is ideally located less than a mile from the Victorian resort of Llandudno and with easy links to the A55 Expressway. The gently undulating course has breath taking panoramic views across the curving Conwy Bay, from the Great Orme Head to the dramatic mountains of Snowdonia National park. Maesdu is proud of its immaculate fairways and challenging greens, which are varied and contouring, and offer a true test to golfers of all abilities.

A mixture of parkland and links holes, very disappointed with this course having played it's neighbour North Wales Golf Club the day before. That said the course was in good condition and had an enjoyable day.

Played in a howling westerly gale which made the course interesting, just looking at some of the trees tells you where the prevailing wind blows. Not a fan of blind holes and aiming at a marker post. Greens superb, very consistent, speedy and true.

Very nice Course, first three holes are parkland then you cross over the road to links, when the wind blows off the sea it can be quite difficult. The rough is very punishable and take some getting out of, The seventeenth and eighteenth are back over the road onto parkland with the eighteenth having a wonderful elevated tee shot towards the very nice clubhouse

A testing course in excellent condition, especially the greens. The weather can make it a real test. Worth playing just for the views.

The new green keeper at this club has made a huge difference to the look, feel and playability of this wonderful golf course throughout 2013 - and I would expect continuing improvements throughout 2014 leading up the club centenary in 2015. The only slight downside I can mention is that the trees on the course drop white golf ball sized leaves during autumn!

A gem ! Links toughness and quality abounds ! Add wind and some rain and its a proper test of golf ! Great greens and evil bunkers. Have played it a couple of times and love to go back. Llandudno is close by too!

Didn't play well, lost quite a few balls either on or just off the fairway in silver birch leaves - big tip - play a coloured ball in the autumn! Best holes are the links ones on the other side of the road, parkland holes are a bit boring.

Played last week and thoroughly enjoyed. Since my junior days this course has been the stuff of nightmares. I'd never played well there and the beast was toying with me so the other day i decided to go along and tame the bugger.
I was -2 after 7 holes after bogeying the 1st (a tricky par 3) so it was all looking good. -1 through the turn and the it happened. The 10th. Dont push off the tee i told myself. I didn't. I sliced it right out, grrr. However, after regaing composure and letting my golf bag know whos boss with a 7 iron, i stedied the ship and finished +1 to my handicap. I didnt so much as tame the beast but i slapped it in the face and ran away!

Greens were of typical maesdu standard which i pretty good, course was in good order. Good food and good ale to boot. Very busy there aswell for a thursday. Slow play was a slight issue but if a course is busy (good to see) so be it. Take time and enjoy it, which is exactly what i did.
