What the club says: Penmaenmawr Golf course in Conwy, North Wales is set up for all levels of golfers, from low handicap players, medium handicap players and beginners and on its day can be forgiving as well as providing a real challenge to all. So, come and play Golf at Penmaenmawr, one of North Wales best 9 Hole Golf Courses (with 18 tees). Playing the golf course is a must for any golfing enthusiast, you will be rewarded with a memorable round of golf and you will be warmly received at the 19th hole.

With three mountains surrounding as a back drop and the coastline in front, Penmaenmawr golf course, in North Wales, is as challenging in golf as it is stimulating in scenic beauty. When the view is as magnificent as seen on a balmy summers day, it is worth enduring some of the slopes on this golf course.

Penmaenmawr golf course is truly, one of the sights of the golfing world - with the Great Orme Head rising out of the sea by Llandudno and the distant outline of Anglesey and Puffin Island across the Menai Straits.

Constructed in 1910, pen golf course itself is equally magnificent. Dry stone walls bisect the fairways with devastating effect if you have an errant drive, especially on the 2nd, 7th and 16th holes. Although there is not a par 5 on the golf course, when you walk off the 5th, you'll be convinced that there are four feet in the Welsh yard!

Great 9 hole golf course. Stopped for 9 holes on the way to Anglesey to play Bull Bay and Holyhead.

We were lucky to have a nice morning. Tees, greens and fairways immaculate. Lovely views and very accomodating staff.

A great little golf course, the fairways at the moment are immaculate, I have not seen a lot better on my travels. The greens are very well maintained, I spoke to the greenkeeper and he is a good golfer, 3 handicap, so that sets the standard for the course. The course has an interesting feature as the old field boundariy walls bisect the fairways and did cause some minor problems and on occassion a good bounce worked out well. The course is hilly but not the steepest Hils I have played. A wonderful course and so under-used, there were only the 3 of us playing. This club needs to let people know they exist.

Excellent picturesque 9 hole course (play twice) - very hilly - interesting drives zig zag over stone walls - very well looked after - greens a challenge. Very good value at £15 - hardly anyone on teh course when I went.
