What the club says: Formed in 1899, the club is ideally situated equidistant between the holiday resorts of Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. It is quite literally a seaside course with its open aspect being enhanced by inland views of nearby hills and the periphery of Snowdonia beyond.
The course lies on ground reputed to be the original bed of the River Conway. Supporting this, in the garden of a house named “Odstone” to the side of the 17th green, is a plaque denoting the spot from which Prince Madoc set sail for America in 1170AD, over 300 years before Colombus. A stream known as the Afon Ganol now traverses the course roughly south to north and through the centre.

Very NIce Course

My wife and I had to give up after 8 holes as it was so windy she twisted her back on the elevated 8th tee box stopping herself from falling over. Basically the wind was so severe that the part 4's became 5's with the wind against. Saying that, as daft as it sounds, we really did enjoy playing the course. OK, it is not very long, but there are boat loads of little undulations around the greens to navigate, and the greens are very fast and not the easiest to read. Everyone we met on the course said hello and the welcome in the golf shop was as if we had been members for several years and not visitors. We will come again me maybe not in the Hurricane season.

Nice course to play when the weather is good.
Green is very fast to putter. Good fairway but they need tidy up outside fairway because it is not easy to find it

nice condition with true greens

Quite a test for an average player. Found some par 4's hard to reach in 2. Thought I was at PLAYERS 17TH ( on last ). Duffed my tee shot put still scraped a par.

Very pleasant course, which has got better over the years.
Reasonably flat, with a few water hazards but overall a forgiving course, especially for the shorter hitters.
Wee recommended

Played here with my 15 year old son course was in lovely condition. W we’re on a buggy got to the tee at the allotted time. There was a 4 ball just finishing up on the tee. Waited for them to get up the fairway, after 3 shots by one of the players the were far enough away. We took our shots . Finished the hole only to go to next tee same 4 ball on tee, no one in front of them. This was the same all the way round. When we got to the 15th people behind were walking off. Slowest round I have ever played. The 4 ball at the end in the car park said they were sorry for holding us up but the tried to keep the pace of play up. They should of let us through after 2 holes not acceptable. Love the course.

Avoid

Terrible, tiny fairways go into 5 inches of horrible rough which you then can't find. A 18 hole course squashed in a 9 hole space
