Don’t play if windy
Played this course in gale force winds. It made for a very difficult and long round not helped by the dry conditions with the fairways like a table top. Choose when to play carefully and stay at home if it’s windy.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 110 Handicap: 17.3)

Holiday with family but ended up golfing
After having a week away with the family local to the area, it seemed a shame not to play the course as it was on the doorstep, and at only £25 for a round at 1500pm it worked out perfect for me. The course is a traditional layout not the longest but if the wind gets up like it did for me, oh my are you challenged espically not knowing lines off the tee and where balls feed in from. course management is key to play well here. well worth a visit if you in the area but might as well keep the driver in the bag as its all about stratagy and not overpowering this course.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 75 Handicap: )

Isle of Purbeck
A great day out. The course is challenging with some stunning holes, such as the 5th a par 4 played out on a Peninsular. The views are amazing it’s a beautiful part of Dorset. The greens showed some signs of improvement from last year with a better coverage of grass but still pretty slow. Some of the slopes and run offs on the fairways are severe, be prepared to loose a few balls.Reviewer Rating

Great Course & Views
Great course and amazing views on a day with not a cloud in the sky. I?d heard many reports that the condition of Isle of Purbeck was really poor so was not expecting much even though the green fee including coffee and a bacon bap was only ?25. The greens were fine and relatively quick and the bunkers were in good condition - the fairways were very poor but as it was preferred lies it didn't make much difference to my golf. As this was my last round pre lockdown it was actually a really good value golf day with amazing weather for early November.Reviewer Rating
