Golf club away day
Every August we organise an away day for our members and this year we gave Horton Park a go. And thank goodness we did. Everyone had a fantastic day. From the start Simon welcomed us into our own function room for coffee and delicious bacon sarnies. Then we were put into the hands of Jay, the course marshall, who organised our round on the Academy course. Back to the clubhouse where Kath and Patrick made sure lunch and drinks were supplied. The afternoon saw us playing The Millennium course. Again, Jay was there to start us off and organise the groups. Post round we were back in the clubhouse function for a three course sit down meal and Kath and Patrick were deployed to keep us in check and ensure we were fed and watered. Amazing Club and Coarse
Played here with a society was really looked after by everyone especially Ross, Coarse was in such a good condition I would be more than happy to come back and play here again. Also the Club house and facilities for the whole family are amazing.Reviewer Rating

Had an excellent first time at the 18 hole on Horton Park. The marshals were very helpful and accommodating. They checked up on us a few times on the course advising us on the best route around, how to use the golf buggy's and also how to get refreshments whilst playing which we were very impressed with. As first timers on an 18 hole we were a bit slow and despite an impatient group behind us, we had an excellent time and cant wait to return and cant recommend it highly enough!

Horton Park - An enjoyable course and a good putting test
First time playing Horton Park and first impressions are always good. A nice modern clubhouse and pro-shop. A driving range and a putting green that gives you a clue on how the greens are out on the course. Horton Park may not be a long course, but its a real test. There's a lot of holes that force you to leave the driver in the bag, with some very narrow fairways, especially when the yardage is only 460 yards for a par-5.The holes around the turn, the 9th and 10th over the pond are a good test, but the real quality at Horton Park are the greens, they are excellent. Quick and small and if you're not in the right place on them, you will leave some of the trickiest putts you will face all year. I'll be back to Horton Park as it's a very nice course that I thoroughly enjoyed playing. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 18.6)

Good course, varied
Course in good condition, good value for money, interesting varied holes. Bit difficult in autumn with lots of leaves but can't blame the club for that!(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 104 Handicap: 21.4)
