What the club says: A flat course situated next to Birmingham International Airport. The course is well established with wide open fairways enticing you to use your driver off the tees. The greens are big and some span up to 20 yards, so a good approach shot is vital to leave a short putt. In the summer the greens are fast and slick to further challenge the golfer. The 16th is a difficult par four sometimes needing three good shots to reach the green as a strong wind always seems to blow directly into your face. A five is an acceptable score on this tough hole. From the tee you can either carry two fairway bunkers at about 220 yards or you can play left but close to the rough. The course offers a good practice area on natural grass.

having played here in november i was looking forward to seeing what it would be like in better weather. unfortunately some of the greens are in appaling condition. it would be better to use a temporary green and give them chance to be fixed properly as at the moment they resemble a patchwork blanket. fairways are well maintaned and rest of course is not bad either just a shame to be let down by the greens.

Really enjoyed playing this course, lovely fairways and greens, new clubhouse is being improved so will only make this course much more appealing to visitors like myself. Only downside was no lager in the 19th but still a great day out.

No sand in the bunkers and the greens were poor.

A very decent course and will test even the best of golfers. Very challenging pin positions and well thought course lay out. Municipal course so is looked afer but not aswell as it should be but fair pricing

Good course to have a knock on if you are off your game as the fairways are wide and forgiving. The course however is not in great condition. Don't get me wrong it is not terrible but when a "cheap online deal" costs £17 at the place then you expect better, especially when I have played some gorgeous courses for less than £20.

I have palyed here a few times now and have really enjoyed it. The course is well looked after, reasonably priced and for my level of golfing experience challenging but not impossible. Some nice wide fairways for when the ball decides to go off course and some sneaky bunkers to catch you out too.

Ideal course for the money, wide fairways which suit the lower handicap player.
Enjoyed playing there today for the 1st time, scored 103, which on a good day i think i could get close to the 90 mark.

Some greens were diseased and very bumpy fairways OK bunker had plenty of sand in them,clubhosue clean,food very good,pro shop well stocked.All the staff were very friendly and helpfull.
