Robin Hood Golf Club
St Bernards Road, Solihull, West Midlands, B92 7DJ United Kingdom
Robin Hood Golf Course is set amid the beautiful, Warwickshire countryside. Off the yellow tees, this course is adequately challenging for the novice golfer, and from the back tees it can be testing even for big hitters. Robin Hood is well known for its slick greens and plentiful bunkers and most holes of vary in style, so there is little risk of deja vu! Most of the holes are tree lined, making each its own entity, guarded from the rest of the course. Book a Tee Time

Have just played 36 holes during the Midland Open. The course was awsome and a true test of golf, the scoring was tough but the course was in great shape with the greens challenging us all. Hope we play something here again soon

Played in an Open competition here yesterday, The course was in brillient condition, im not sure about the last reviewers comments as there was no sign of sand or lack of grass on the fairways just dry grass like most of the golf courses I have played this summer during the drought. The greens were electric and true and although my score wasnt the best after going in the water several times I had a great day out on a great course.

Played the course in early May along with many others while visiting the Midlands, this was the best, the course was in great condition although some of the greens have had drainage work carried out on them. The club house was lovely, the only thing that was disapointing however was the pro shop as it did not offer much in way of stock.

Very good course, greens quick, nice and smooth and some well laid out holes. Not sure where Ian played, this is a full 18 hole course with the usual variety of par 3, 4 and 5 holes.

Course is in the best shape of the year but could do with some work on bare areas around greens which should be marked G.U.R. (Member)

A very challenging all Par 3 course of 6 holes played 3 times to make up the full round.
Although there are no specific club facilities - i.e changing rooms, there is provision within the adjacent public house for refreshments, toilets, etc.
With a nominal fee for non-members, this is an excellent "short course" on which to hone your driving and piching skills.

There is a reason its called Robin Hood as its a coarse with many trees ,its tree lined on every hole and if your not straight you will end up in the trees. The greens run fast and true and are sometimes dificult to read. The coarse is let down by many fairways that have very little grass on them and sometimes its like playing of sand. There are a lot of long par 4s and not many easy holes.
