Great Day
Had a fabulous day at the Hartsbourne Golf and Country Cub. Nice breakfast in the restaurant to start. The staff were very helpful and everyone was very friendly. The course was amazing and wonderfully maintained.. The greens superb. The views were beautiful. Great day all round.Reviewer Rating

OK. This is a 27 hole course, our four ball only played 18 (Willow and Firs). All four of us are bogey golfers and it is fair to say the course was very challenging. The fairways are well cut yet grass is dense. The rough similarly whilst not high, is again dense. The greens very undulating and pacey. None of us played to our handicap. The longish par fours especially if uphill are a true challenge for a bogey. Great fun.

A club that continues to improve it's facilities. Latest innovation is the ability to track groups on the course to assist pace of play.
Course was in excellent condition for a March round.

Makes you want to return
I have played this venue on three occasions with a Society and each time I leave thinking I want to play there again. The course is a good test, the food is excellent and the staff courteous and attentive.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic fairways.

Fantastic Day
Played this last week in a charity event. It was a memorable day from start to finish. We were made to feel most welcome by every member of staff. The course was in superb condition, despite the fact that the greens had recently received major treatment. The Club should be proud of its staff and thanks in particular to the greens staff for presenting the course so well. Definitely will be coming back.Reviewer Rating

Good balance of hard and not so hard holes. Enjoyed. Good bunkers and greens. Hit good shots and you are rewarded. Will definitely play again.

Brilliant Course

Pro/Secretary Regional Golf Tournament
Excellent day had by all during this prestigious Golf Pro & Secretary Regional Tournament. Service and attention to detail was spot on and the course was in excellent condition bearing in mind the poor weather all golf courses have had to endure this year so far. The Hartsbourne is an excellent traditional golfing venue which as been nudged gently forward to meet the visiting modern day golfers expectations.The course matches any in Herts for layout and quality.
The welcome is second to none for friendliness and help
I fully recommend a visit, also excellent value for money (golf and food).

A well maintained course
Despite recent wet and cold weather conditions the course was in good condition. The grounds men are doing a fantastic job of taking care of fairways, bunkers and greens. I particularly enjoyed the challenge of numerous bunker and water hazards making it an interesting course to play.Reviewer Rating
