Grims Dyke Golf Club
The picturesque parkland course is only 5600 yards in length, with a par of 69 (SSS 67) but with its tight fairways and tricky greens it is a very good test of golf.Contact Information

Nice course in mature parkland setting. It may be on the short but there some well thought out holes with some very nice greens.Easy walking. Played in a society there last week and it was great value for money!

Played Grims Dyke last week in a society. Nice little course in a mature parkland setting. Not overly challenging as their are many very short par 4s and 2 very short par 5s but you still have to keep the ball in play. I think the greens make this course a very good 1,I really liked the greens, they're quite big and undulating, well protected with some nice sculptured bunkers. Certainly recommend it to golfers of any ability.Very enjoyable course,we had a great society rate as well-coffee and bacon roll,9 holes, ploughmans lunch,18 holes, ham egg and chips and prizes (provided bysociety organiser) £55

Some tricky greens help counter the many short holes. The opening par 3 is well protected with a tree either side of the green to catch anything less than straight. The two par 5s are fairly straight forward.Anyone turning with a reasonable front 9 could score really well on the back nine with 4 short par 4s.The 15th is a pig of a par 3 over 200 yards uphill with a green sloping all directions. There is a lot of turn on most greens & the pace can be very inconsistent.

Little "old fashioned" at this course, need to be less uptight I feel. Not a course I would like to join and play just occasionally. Greens not great but nice countryside setting.

I played on Suday here with 7 other lads. Course good, 1 replacement tee. £20 represents good value, but the members made jocks of themselves. Telling us to dress up, and swearing at us. Nice, class. Well done chaps, you'll definetly be winning over future green fees with this attitude.

the course was fine, not overly challenging but good for beginners and forgiving on wayward tee shots. Grrens were well kept, true and fast.
Staff were friendly but members were not...was reprimanded for wearing trainers in the outside area of the bar (after playing a round) and our round was interrupted by two wombles deciding to jump in front of a playing four.
Members took themselves very seriously...make sure you read up on local course etiquette before driving out to the course. The Course
