The course provides a good test of golf for golfers of all abilities. The tree lined fairways make accuracy from the tee important. We have two par 5's, the 11th and 18th holes, five tricky par 3's, and the remainder par 4's of varying lengths. Each hole has a character all of it's own, and the course offers spectacular views of the surrounding area.Book a Tee Time

Played as a Society. After all the rain, was a little concerned how the course would have coped. No need to worry, course was in great condition, in particular the Greens. Very friendly members and the food as part of the package was great. Also comments about some good ale at the bar. One only negative, we were asked to tee off from the 10th for our 18 in the afternoon, which put the last group under a little pressure as some poor members got caught behind the society half way through our round. Very strange.

Generally a good course, the main irritation being the four metal gates to access two of the greens. Part of the challenge is the hilly nature of the entire course. Can do with one or two more par 5 lengths, say by extending No.11 and 13.

Good variation in holes and I didn't really miss the lack of par 5's. Course was well presented and great value on a public day, Mon or Fri.

It's can be a testing course with some fine views but feels like too many pars 3s. Also gets heavy underfoot and some greens a bit bare when we played (at end of oct). Would go again but not to often.

The course was in good condition when we played. There were some interesting holes, the greens felt a bit linksy. The issue was that some holes - going up the hills are tough and the holes down the hill are very easy. Interesting to play once.

This is a great course for all golfers. Some lovely looking holes with testing greens.
Some hard walking involved as there a few steep climbs!
Only dissapointing aspect was the bar! Had a great golf day day and sat down for dinner and drinks but they closed the bar at 8pm on a Friday!!!
