This is an absolutely fabulous course. Very helpful and friendly staff, a testing course with very maroon fairways and difficult greens. We played midweek for £20 incredible value for money, definitely a hidden gem.

Boring Course with poor greens

Course needs some attention in places with allot off bare areas which l found plenty. Greens poor and very firm this made holding the ball very hard. Staff very rude especially the green staff, wouldn't wait whilst playing my shot.

Challenging track

Course was wet but very playable. Still managed to score net 66.

First time at Caddington and will be returning soon. Tough pin positions, a number of tiered greens and well positioned hazards to make you constantly think about course management.

Only downside is in places it's very tight and a number of holes
Feel like they are almost on top of each other. Balls from other tee boxes flew in our direction on at least 3 occasions.

A good 9 hole course, nice and accessible and good short game practise. Worth heading over for a game.

Very impressed

It had been raining for days. 18 tees, 18 immaculate greens. No temps. Yes, water on course but no more than expected. The course in my view is a little jewel in Bedfordshire. Super Marshall at the start, lovely welcoming staff in the bar. Well done Caddington, first of many visits.

Will return

This course is worth a visit. Greens in really good shape considering the time of year and amount of rain we have had.
Most of the fairways were very wet.
Course layout, moreso on the back nine, is very interesting. Be interesting to see j]how many pars are made on the SI 1 hole. Over 200 yards par 3 and the green slopes considerably.
Will return soon to hopefully enjoy better weather and overall course conditions.

Fantastic Cource well worth visiting

Very well looked after, challenging course -- some holes target golf some a bit more forgiving. Just don't go into deep rough ball disapears

The course has reopened and it is well worth playing. They have done a great deal of work and while the paths need further work it is much improved. The value is excellent and it deserves to do well. Long and not that easy it is a good test.

Mr

Played there yesterday and pleasantly surprised with the quality of the course and its lay out.
There was a bit of wind and a lot of roll on the hard ground which made it difficult.
The greens were excellent and I can only see the course improving ,but its a tough test if not on your best game .

Impressed

I played the previous 9-Hole version here quite a few times, just prior to the closure for refurb, but never the full 18 before that.
I was very impressed with the new layout, new holes and the condition of the course. Yes it will need a little time to bed in, but is still an interesting and challenging course to play now.
Most greens are a challenge, not only to approach but then the challenging undulations. I especially enjoyed the front 8 holes, the 8th itself that runs alongside the 1st is a lovely looking hole that requires a bit of thought off the tee due to strategically placed hazards.
We played it twilight for £12, so great value too. Will definitely be back regularly.

Course Closure - This is a temporary closure to allow full focus on the redevelopement works. Caddington Course will benefit by becoming a 27 hole facility – 18 hole plus a 9 hole academy in 2015. The greens are being constructed to USGA specifications which will raise the profile and hopefully the quantity of membership. Yes we have had huge amounts of soil importation but that benefits all involved and what we are creating here certainly will rival other clubs. We have been constructing for 3 years now and aim to finish by 2015 summer with 7 brand new holes and 9 redeveloped. (posted on behalf of Caddington Golf CLub by golfshake.com)

Back again

Returned to play this course again. My daughter has recently moved into the village so it’s a natural choice when visiting. I played twice in the last week. The course is in excellent condition, particularly the greens which, despite the heavy recent rains, were exceptionally good and quite quick.
