Course is play much better than earlier in the year with fairways and greens nicely presented. Greens were quite slow and a little unpredictable in places. Nice mixture of longer holes on the front 9 and shorter par 3

I'm an 18 handicapper and shot 6 over, so not the hardest course in the world. Course of 2 halves - 1st 9 holes = 3029 yards so a proper test with 2 long par 5's. Back 9 = 1857 yards, but some great par 3's to test your short game. Always enjoy it and only takes 2 1/2 hours to get round.

Have just started playing after injury and found course very good test over a short overall yardage.
Some holes are very average due to hills and very good shoots are punished due to slopes. Very rarely do you get a level stance and this makes you think first. Has improved my long irons no end, very under rated course. Give it a go. £11 per round is excellent VFM.

Played this course for the 1st time as thought it was a shorter course for my son to play his 1st game of golf. Was really impressed with the quality of the fairways - grass was being mowed and rolled whilst I was there and the course itself. Two par 5's soon made me forget about this being an easy course! Greens had just been spiked but ran well and apart from the 4th and 5th, which were added to the course a few years ago and remnants of the pitch and putt still remain, I was very impressed with the set up. Friendly staff - provided us with a free bag hire - and good holes which rewarded accuracy - A course I will play again and at £11 and £5.50 a real bargain.

Just to update my last review. They are still spending money on the course and making improvements. Tey winter has taken its toll the same as anywhere else in the country but we played it yesterday and there was a vast improvements on the greens from the week before. All i can say is give it a go, a lot of people give it some stick but you just have to play it like every other course.
