Absolutely horrible. Played in peak summer and the condition of course was hideous. We had to tee from what looked like a building site on one hole. Many unsavoury characters walking around the course at the same time carrying cans of beer. Almost all of the greens were in terrible condition, I wouldn’t let my dog poo up there, it is safe to say I won’t be returning.

18 holes

Played 18 holes in august 1st time and probably be last time greens were in terrible state not cut ball hardly rolled flags were embarrisingly bad about 4ft high flag.

No direction in between holes were to go to next or signals to were the holes were when going down the hill or up the hills so losing balls is a given not that i lost any but very poor state.

Too many hills and slopes so hit downhill and dont know where its heading due to severe uphill or downhill holes. Very dirty tees when you can find them and rubbish etc around most of them wouldnt recommend playing this course spend a little extra and get a better kept course regular at hillies golf course in wombwell now 18holes is the same price as concord much better kept.

Course is good value for money and not too busy, but not in exactly top condition (I think someone has pinched all the sand). Staff at course friendly and helpful. Good place to start learning the game as it is very short. Hole 7 impossible for anyone other than a VERY good golfer who can hit the ball very high indeed to cope with the uphill height of the green. Cannot think of another Par 3 that requires such a shot. Hilly course so good excessive to be had.

Phew!

Very demanding course, as others have said half the time you haven't a clue as to where to hit the ball -no direction markers. You can hit hat you think is a good shot only to find your ball as vanished, kids and grown=ups!. This course seems to be open ground for the public to walk around freely.

Nothing sparkling at all fairways half decent, greens hit and miss , tees are very poor . Ok for a quick convenient game but don't expect anything special .

Although this course offers good value for money and is kept in fairly good condition, it is very hilly and on a high percentage of holes the green is "over the horizon" from the tee. Also a number
Of holes have fairways with a significant cross slope so even a good straight drive can result in the ball rolling into the rough. A challenging couse!

A local council pay and play course, never usually too busy and good to playing after work on an evening as quite a short course with only 1 or 2 par 5's

I play this course because I can walk to it but it suffers from its location near a council estate. Can be hard walking for the less fit. Opens with an easy down sloping and driveable Par 4. Second Par 5 has a coppice of trees at drive carry distance with a bunker bang in front of the green (I have finished in this a number of times trying to reach in 2. Driveable Par 4 3rd. Long Par 4 4th. 6th is a tricky short Par 3 which tends to force you left lots of trees. 7th uphill Par 3, I have seen a lot of people taking a driver to this and not reaching it. 8th driveable but has a norrow entry to the green. 9th a long drive here can leave you blocked out by the trees.
10th Par 4 downhill and slopes left to right alongside 15th.
11th short uphill Par 3 to blind green with trouble to right.
12th driveable Par 4 downhill dog leg right (had my only ever hole in one here)
13th downhill Par 3 tricky to guide through tree gap
14th Par 3 elevated tee, short easy hole.
15th Par 4, driveable for big hitters, trouble left and severe slope left to right
16th V.Short Par 3, sand iron good birdie chance.
17th Par 3 can be anything from 9 to 5 iron depending on wind.
18th Par 4 easy drive and pitch.
Fair challenging course, nice club house but greens fluctuate from average to very good, difficult and frustrating when very dry.
