Try it and be pleasant suprised

Many things are said about Concord and not all of them are fair.

It’s set next to a large park in a working class part of Sheffield and there are public rights away across the course. It’s obviously not got the same budget as some of the more top end courses around the Sheffield area, but it makes the most of what it does has, and it has been cared for, looked after and has improved a lot over the last few years and the money it has earned has been reinvested in the course and tidied it up a lot from what it was. The signage has been updated, bunkers full of sand and the Greens appeared to be true and looked after.

It’s ideal for beginners as most of the holes are challenging but not too difficult. The 4th and 7th are the toughest, the back nine is shorter and easier from that the front 9, but with the small Greens accurate Iron play is essential.

I’ll definitely be back again

Great value for money Course

The course is under new ownership, recently taken over by Warren Allcroft who has beem the club pro for 20 + Years, Lots of work currently been done in the clubhouse and on the course. The course and greens are in the best condition I've seen for a few years and should be in good shape for the summer. Appears to be a good vibe up there at the moment, Range being revamped and new young pro Rob taken on board keen to give comprehensive lessons to Kids and Adults.

Very near to Council Estate, occasional dog walker but a good short and challenging course. Great friendly club house.

Cheap muni course, currently in good condition. Short, but has some tricky holes - very easy to over shoot and lose balls in the woods. An enjoyable round, great value for money.

A really good challenging course, just in the wrong part of town. To many dog walkers and kids crossing the fairways. Shame!

The course is in great condition for the time of year, much better than when I have previously played it. There's a nice mix of holes and although short it is not without a challenge. For the money, a real bargain.

An under rated course, where there are par 4's that you can drive to the green in one (3rd & 12th holes spring to mind (if the wind is with you on the 12th, you can green it with a 6 iron)) there are also holes that one bad shot sees your ball in the woods and will potentially ruin a good score. Could benefit with a few more bunkers around the greens to encourage you to think more about your shots but for £8 on a week day you cant really complain. Great for beginners as most of the par 4's don't hit 300 yards but also a good challenge for experienced players due to some tricky woody par 3's.
