What the club says: Established in 1891, Grange Park Golf Club offers a Championship parkland golf course. The greens are kept in excellent condition and viewed amongst the best in the county. Each hole provides a different challenge and good club selection is needed to score well.
Enjoyed the day
Booked the wrong course by accident, but they generously let me jump in as playing solo, flew round the front 9 which had been reserved from the back 9 some long and tricky holes. The back nine started well but found the back end of the seniors competion day some great players but slow! so not a bad round but could have been even better. Should have took a trolly and picnic

Played full 18 after work and even after 2 days of heavy rain showers the course held up very well and was in good condition, £10, awesome value.
Hilly course that plays a bit longer than the yardage suggests and being a parkland course you will be punished for wide tee shots, so new players may struggle.
Worth mentioning that there was a queue on the first tee when we turned up but we had no hold ups at all, Tee'd off at 5.40 and finished at 8.40 (two ball)

Having read the previous review I expected a nice easy days golf instead i found a course measuring over 6,600 yards from the medal tees that had plenty of bunkers, out of bounds and hazards. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition, the greens were a little on the slow side but that's what you would expect at this time of year as the grass tends to over seed and grow quickly through the day. The clubhouse is lovely and the food excellent.
(Round played: Apr 2017 - Score: 108 Handicap: 24.3) Enjoyable round and course only slightly ruined by the strong winds
Play this course weekends , as a beginner lots of open space

(Round played: May 2016 - Score: 100 Handicap: 26.1)
(Round played: Sep 2016 - Score: 98 Handicap: 23.7)
Course in excellent condition very good greens the only thing that lets it down is the poor sand in the bunkers apart from that cannot fault it
(Round played: Jul 2016 - Score: 73 Handicap: 9.9)
Really good course well looked after and enjoyed the round even though you need to be fit to get round it lol
(Round played: Jul 2016 - Score: 104 Handicap: 27.7)
(Round played: Jul 2016 - Score: 76 Handicap: 10.4)
good course for the money would play here again
(Round played: May 2016 - Score: 85 Handicap: 20.4)
Previous round the greens had been tined and dressed but today they were much better, not quick but not slow. Some challenging holes and long par 4's, plenty of trees to drive into but many generous fairways if you are accurate. Bunkers have rakes and enough sand in them. All in all the course was in good order and is well kept. Midweek round cost £16.00 electric buggies are £12.00. Great value for money and a course to visit again and again.
