the course is in need of some TLC. but the price reflects that making it a fair choice for a knock. i feel that its just in need of investment.

Course Is definitely improving every month. Greens seem to be on the way to recovering and the fairways and tees are great. Great value for money and given time will be back to a proper golf course sooner rather than later.

Getting Better

Definitely improving as a course, I play here regularly and has been in bad condition in the last few months but things are turning around and that makes it great value. As always its a challenging course with some tough holes but will only tear your game to shred if you can't keep it in the fairway.

If you are in the Coventry area then this is worth a try, very friendly people nice breakfast and the course is looking better.

Very disappointing

The course is one we generally love to go to but since our last visit about 3 months ago the deterioration is marked. The greens look as if they have been scraped with a digger and are heavily sanded which in no way is sufficient to fill the ruts and lack of grass. Three greens were so bad they had been taken out of play altogether and replaced by temporary greens. Some of the tees appear to have been almost completely dug up by rabbits, the fairways simply reflect the dry summer we have had but our biggest problem was that our foursome collectively lost 16 balls, four from poor shots but the rest finished under the leaves that had fallen all over the course and we just couldn't find them even on the fairways. We will not be returning in a hurry. To be a little fairer the golf was only ?12 each which is somewhat cheaper than usual.

Do NOT waste your time and money!

Played this course today. It was AWFUL. I've never played a course with such poor groundsmanship. The greens were terrible, treated with sand. Could not putt properly. Fairways were too long and therefore held all of the leaves falling off the trees. The ground staff were constantly messing about in front of us ( I know we should let them work, but all one was doing was churning up leaves). The bunkers have very little decent sand in them. The tees were chewed up. It was worse than just after the hot conditions. I don't know why they did not water the greens in the summer, the place is surrounded by water! I will not be playin this course ever again.

Worth a visit

A very good test of golf in the Warwickshire countryside alongside the river Avon. Some testing long par 4 and 5 holes. Just over 3 hours for a two ball on a quiet day but can be much longer at the weekend and on busy days. driving range is somewhat short but ok with a chipping area and a large putting green. Course would benefit from some TLC but for a municipal its OK

Very disappointing.i have never played a course in worst condition,having phoned to check the condition,the course would rate as unplayable,they have lost every green.and fairways are not good at all.then to be given sandwiches out of code.
Such a Shane as the setting is gorgeous.
New management needed here

worst course i have played

The greens are in terrible condition. Don't think they have maintained them at all this year and if they have they need to sack the green keepers.Played for 18 years and have never seen greens like this and they still want to charge £16 of a weekend. Wouldn't look at this course until after Christmas.

Lovely Parkland Setting Course

Unfortunately the greens have suffered this summer (2018) and are in poor condition, fairways are staring to recover. Very good value for twilight green fees. Hopefully the greens will recover for next spring / summer.
