Awesome Burnham Beeches
I played yesterday (29/06/23) at BB for the first time. What a fantastic clubhouse and facilities. Staff were wonderful (10/10), food was equally good (10/10), bar and terrace area fantastic, locker rooms amazing. Great shower. Fresh towels. I can’t recommend BB highly enough for anyone wanting and great day of golf.
The course was immaculate. Fantastic greens!!!
Course dry in places, but that’s to be expected. It’s been hot and dry.
Some very tricky holes and some wide open fairways where one can open the shoulders.
I have to put down one slightly negative comment to keep this post real. There’s very few places to fill water bottles/ drinking fountains.
The halfway house is dry but for fizzy sugar laden drinks from a machine. No fresh tap water.
Therefore I’d say BB gets a solid 9.97.
Thanks Burnham Beeches.
What a great course and venue.

A great golf course to play
Once again we played Burnham Beeches. This course is presented in excellent condition. The course is a good test of golf. It doesn’t penalise a good shot where other courses can. The condition of the fairways and bunkers were excellent. The greens were slightly slower than we’re used to but that’s not a criticism. Burnham Beeches is a must play course - you’ll love it.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant
I played Burnham Beeches this afternoon, very impressed with the course and improvements to the course since i last played a year ago, the new bunkers especially on 17 look so good, and the new pathway on 6 looks brilliant.Greens and fairways were at their usual top standard.
The GreenStaff clearly do an amazing job with detail in the course that u don’t find with most golf courses around the area.
Was a pleasure being out playing Burnham Beeches today.

Best course in Bucks!
This course is severely underrated. You will not find better condition of course and value for money anywhere else in the county full stop. Stunning. A must play. Very friendly welcome and not stuffy at all.Reviewer Rating

I played this course in a charity golf day and our team of mens and ladies from single figure to high handicap golfers and all of us were highly impressed with this beautiful tree lined course with smooth and true greens. A friendly and welcoming clubhouse served a magnificent roast dinner I will definitely revisit.Reviewer Rating

SHOC Golf Day
We played in the above day which is a very worthy local charity. I had not played at Burnham Beeches for approximately 35 years, but always remembered it with fondness. Anyway, my recollections of the course were spot on as it was as good as I remembered, lush fairways, excellent greens and a lovely welcoming clubhouse. The Food , service and ambience was great and I cannot wait till my next visit which will definitely be quicker than the last one.Reviewer Rating

I played the course on 12th May 2023 as part of a charity event and found it in very good condition for the time of year. The greens were firm with perhaps some early season unevenness. The fairways were well prepared and a pleasure to play from, in contrast to some other courses in the area. The rough around the greens was a little longer than ideal but perhaps I’m at fault for guiding my ball into its midst.
The clubhouse and changing rooms are first class and they present a fine example of the early days of the sport’s development. The general ambience of the club was warm and welcoming without the malaise of stuffiness and exclusivity portrayed by some nearby clubs.
I have played the course now 3 times and I look forward to future opportunities to enjoy a day there
