The Lambourne Golf Club provides one of the region's best golfing challenges. The par 72 course measures 6798 yards from the back tees and has 3 other sets of tees to suit all abilities. Although a strong challenge for the low handicap golfer (seven of the par 4 holes are over 400 yards), the course is also very enjoyable for all players. It is maintained with the highest consideration for environmental issues.
Constructed on gravel, so not blighted with drainage problems, The Lambourne Club has the added bonus of its own two million gallon lake and bore hole. These irrigate not only the tees and greens but the fairways too, with the result that the course loses very few playing days each year. Book a Tee Time

long and tough especially in the wind, good greens but course needs some maintenance

Fairly flat - especially back nine. Fairways are quite wide but rough is really high and thick. Not much variation in length of rough - goes from short to very high!

Agree with Michael that paying £25 as a members guest is a fair price. £60 too steep as a green fee.
Usually play off back tees (Blues) when open, which makes this a very long course. Rough can be horrendous in summer if you are too wayward.
Playing off whites is still a challenge.
Greens always in good condition.

Very long and open you can have a bit of a whack and not normally get into much trouble. Not many memorable holes but a nice track if you can get it at the right price.
I have only played as a members guest . so £25 and good value at that . but not at £60.
Always in nice condition .
