What the club says: As well as being a challenging and demanding course you will find it hard not to be stirred by the exquisite views and landscapes of the Club's championship course known as Stoke Poges. The club's true 27 hole course is made up of the three nine hole courses Colt, Alison and Jackson.
I first played this course back in 2007 whilst it is high on my list of courses I have played I'll be honest and say I couldn't remember that much and the bunkers didn't really spring to mind. Having now played again in 2017 I can say the course is still exceptional and ranks up there in my list of courses but the bunkers, the bunkers, yes the bunkers! There are lots of them, exceptionally well kept and a great addition to this challenge.
As you would expect the course condition, layout and alround experience is suprerby. A course you should definitely take the time to play and experience that 'James Bond/Gold Finger' moment on the 18th.
I did play off the whites during my round and that would be my only critisim in that the whites were almost too far back and the layout and hole view off the yellows seemed much better. That said, most visitors will play from the yellows anyway.
Scenic setting with some water holes large numbers of strategically placed bunkers. Good quality greens .

This course is honestly one of the best I have ever played, it is expensive but the quality of the course layout and facilities are amazing. The new bunkers make it much harder and a good challenge.
(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 20.5)
A beautiful parkland course, where each hole has been sculptured out of land making good use if the undulating fairways and water on the course.
Lots and lots of bunkers - if you can pick your way around missing them, you've done well! Not overly challenging if you can hit straight off the tee, but trouble can be found left and right of every fairway.

Greens were very fluffy and slow and If I'd paid the ?160 green fee I'd be very unhappy
Glorious round. The back 9, on the Alison Course is one of the most delightful British settings I have ever played. Lots of water and some delicate shots needed!

very nice set up, course in great condition, greens superb
(Round played: Aug 2016 - Score: 82 Handicap: 11.3)
Stoke Park is right up there with the best of the best when it comes to golfing experiences. A great club house (as seen in 007 Goldfinger movie). Three x 9 holes courses, all in excellent condition and really well laid out.
Stunning course. Well kept, greens fantastic, hotel great. Cannot fault!

Expensive or very expensive by comparison to other clubs
would definitely play again
(Round played: Jul 2016 - Score: 89 Handicap: 20.1)
Very well kept course. Needs a bit more character around the course. Fairways are excellent and facilities and staff are great and friendly
(Round played: May 2016 - Score: 105 Handicap: 22.3)
A truly special place to play golf. Amazing in every way, wonderful scenery, amazing buildings, cinematic history and of course brilliant golf holes. We played the Alison and Lane Jackson nines, the Alison was slightly better, but nothing here will disappoint. Better than the Belfry Brabazon for me.
