What the club says: Centrally located in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, but only 5 minutes away from the motorway network, the Bromsgrove Golf Centre is conveniently and easily reached from all destinations.
Described by many to be one of the most interesting courses in Worcestershire, the rich undulating landscape has been used to great effect incorporating tiered greens and sweeping fairways to offer a series of truly imaginative holes.
Designed by the highly respected golf course architects, Hawtree Ltd, the Par 68 ‘pay and play’ course is not be underestimated. Creative mounding, raised tees and a selection of well defined bunkers delivers a uniquely satisfying experience to golfers of all abilities.
Really good course and again ideal for the shorter hitter. Despite the amount of rain the course had been subject to, the course played really well.

Good course, fairways cut nice , greens in good nic ,, bunkers need drainage work on them

A lovely course with a lot of variation in holes although only one par 5. Every part of the course was in excellent condition even though the greens had just been spiked. It is a hilly course, so if you have any problem with walking 18 holes, a buggy would be very advisable. It is high up so wind can be a big factor.
Value for money was good through an online booking site and the course was in decent condition, some areas were GUR but this didn't impact on play and I like to see this rather than damaged areas be left to worsen beyond repair. Greens aren't the fastest but run true. Only one par 5 but the course is a decent yardage and fairway bunkers, dog legs, changes in elevation and mature trees make for an interesting challenge. The 178 yard par 3 with water all the way down the left is also a test of nerve. Facilities seem very good albeit we didn't use them. Ball seemed to pick up mud without the course seeming boggy so question marks over how well it drains in winter.
a very nice course , went with a society and were looked after top class , a few dog legs but made you think about laying up , all in all top golf centre

Played this course many times, I think it gets better and better as the trees mature. You have to think your way round. Some good hazards to overcome. The rough kept reasonably low but challenging if behind one of the many trees. Hole 12 one of my favs on any course. Some good deals if you look on the website.

The only minus was the Bacon sandwich we had before playing which was very very dry (butter on the bread would have been helpfull)
(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 23.5)
Very cold day, great round of golf with friends
(Round played: Oct 2010 - Score: 86 Handicap: 0)
Played as a freebie, so value for money comments are biased. Bromsgrove is without doubt one of the prettier courses in the West Midlands with the extensive use of pines and evergreen trees. So looks elegant in the sunshine particularly on the back 9. Approach to 12 is beautiful. Greens adequate if firm, and approaches also hard after dry spring.

Good course, fair ways trimmed well and greens in good condition, one temp green which was a surprise but at least they put up a distance plaque
