Lickey Hills Golf Club
Rosehill, Rednal, Birmingham, Worcestershire, B45 8RR United Kingdom
This golf course is fun and challenging and there is always a suprise lying in wait. There are some long holes which will challenge the mid handicapper and placing your tee shots on the fairways is a must on some holes. This course seems to get better the more I play itBook a Tee Time

In good condition for the time of year, geens not too slow or bobbly. Great spongy turf on the fairways are a joy to hit irons from.

One of the best local municipals. Good use of the considerable gradients. Not a great start & the 3rd is a bit false but improves considerably & finishes with some tough holes, especially from 15 through 17.

Good for a council course. Some holes have been sandwiched in but many holes would stand up to scrutiny on an established private woodland course. Worth playing for the money. Like any council course the greens are a little slow and it can get busy.

Played the course twice in glorious sunny weather and drizzle and both times were a delight. The course itself is challenging to a beginner with most holes having some sort of incline or hazard which makes a well placed tee shot vital.

I've only played this course twice, once in the rain and once in the sunshine, on both occasions I really enjoyed the course. Set with the Lickey Hills this makes for a very picturesque course with some interesting and challenging holes. The club house and pro shop are very basic but have all you need the food is very good.
Again, get yourself down there for an enjoyable game of golf.

For a public course this is a nice course, could do with better facilities and a bit more TLC.

Decent muni in pleasant surroundings, very hilly (watch out for cardiac hill 2nd
). Not a long course by any means but a decent test all the same with some long 200+yrd par 3's.
Found the greens a test due to the heavy rain from the night before, recorded 42 putts for the round, but I'd definitely go back in the summer.

Hilly country course a test on the legs. A great municipal with some long challenging holes. Greens in excellent condition and lots of difficult reads.
Will definitely play again, beautiful scenary and I would imagaine fantastic views, unfortunately I played on a cloudy dull day. Shop & restaurant small but clean & tidy.

If the holes had yardage markers on the course would have got a very good, lovely condition though. Quite challenging for high handicappers.

Only played here twice and found the course to be a real tough test of golf, in particular the back 9.
In terms of scenery and the surrounding backdrop its probably the best looking course I've played and thouroughly enjoyed playing here. The cafe there provides a superb fry-up too.
