The course is relatively flat parkland and both professionals and top-class amateurs find it a fair test of their ability, particularly on some of the longer Par 4's. Most holes are tree-lined with oak, birch and pine. The Garnkirk Burn also winds its way through the middle part of the course, making the 6th and 7th holes testing depending on which way the wind is blowing. On a sunny day there are magnificent views of the Campsie Hills, with Ben Lomond in the background.

poor greens, very wet not good drainage. for the money it is very over priced.
club house is old and need of some work.
if you get there early don't expect to get any coffee or breakfast, kitchen dosen't open till 11 am
