This internationally acclaimed course was laid out by Jack Nicklaus, who's described it as one of his best designs to date. It's a very challenging 18 holer and even the expert golfer will find it a good test. Montecastillo was host to the Volvo Masters for five years from 1997-2001 and has received €2 million investment over the last couple of years making it an even better round of golf.

Directions:
The golf course is located 10 kilometres from Jerez on the road towards Arcos (N-342). Right beside Montecastillo is the Jerez car race track which can be partially seen from the highway.

Notes:
The Montecastillo Golf course has hosted the Volvo Masters from 97-01. Although it is quite hilly, and is a tough, testing course there are some spectacular holes. The fairways and greens at Montecastillo are always in great shape, with putting on the huge greens really testing this vital skill.
