Golf Club Overview

The innovative design of this course invites golfers to challenge themselves. The 66 bunkers on the course are placed strategically and there are two large lakes tempting golfers into risky shots. Designed by Ramón Espinosa, one of Spain?s most prestigious golf architects, this championship standard offers a very enjoyable test.

Course Designer: Ramon Espinosa

Location: From Murcia follow the exit on the A7 motorway to highway 344 (20 km before Almería). After approximately six kilometers at the third roundabout, turn left at Urbanización El Toyo. From Almería take the A7 and follow the “El Alquián - Cabo de Gata” exit. Take a left at the first roundabout and then a right at the second roundabout at Urbanización El Toyo.

Golf course review of Alboran Golf
Fantastic golf course but extremely difficult. Not one easy hole on this track, would not recommend to beginners.

Course has been improved since the opening. Now has over 100 bunkers and 6 holes now have large water hazards to avoid.

Don't let this review put you off playing here, I loved it and can't wait to play there again.
