What a fantastic Course. THis is on the Fairmont Complex in St Andrews and is well worth a visit. Punished though if even a foot off the fairway as rough really is. lol. However you must give this a try. You will not be disappointed. Also if you get a chance then hire the GolfBoard its amazing.

Very long for me as not a very big hitter! Rough was very rough indeed and I never seen bunkers that deep before, such that the green was above your head with virtually a sheer wall in front of you. Got out of one fairly well at 2nd attempt. but played out backwards from the next as the only sensible option for me! Large greens to hit generally, but lots of slopes to test your reading for putts. Terrific coastal scenery, although I couldn't really enjoy it very much as playing in strong wind driven rain.

Fantastic course! In my top 3, some absolute stunning holes playing next to the north sea. Fairways in great condition, nicely stripped and greens running at a good speed. Course was pretty quiet which helped us soak in the amazing views. Fantastic

Played the Kittocks for the first time having heard lots of good things and read good reviews but I just cannot fathom the justification for such high reviews. I've played a lot of the top links courses in Fife and this just doesn't compare. Tee boxes were littered with divots, the fairways were long with sprouts of grass and weeds, the approaches had been tined and sanded (at the end of May??) and the greens were patchy at best. Not the conditions you would expect from a golf course charging £80. There were some interesting holes on the course but badly let down with the overall condition. Such a let down.

A really enjoyable course to play. When played in good weather then you can score well but if the wind picks up then hold onto your hat

Thoroughly enjoyed my round today. A fantastic range of holes. Charging extra to use the range was a little disappointing but only a minor point. It's a must play.

We played this course on Sat 5th March and it was excellent. £25 for a weekend round, playing full course and full greens. Despite the rain and cold weather we've had, course was in fantastic condition - all round.
Quite a tough course with narrow fairways (lined with links style rough) and strong wind coming off of the sea. Higher handicappers in the party found it tricky in parts (use of Driver>Hybrid>long iron on some longer holes for our better players). We played from the yellows and it was a fairly good test at 6090 yards (I think that's correct). Greens run at a good pace and were consistent. Lovely flat, well maintained tee boxes too.
Visited the pro shop to pay only. Staff member was very friendly and it looked well stocked. Toilets quite and excellent shower facilities too. At £25 a round (winter deal), it was an absolute steal.
We will definitely be back and would be a good bit more to play this course.
