I played the Torrance with 3 friends on the bunkered subscription offer and thoroughly enjoyed the course even though I did not play my best golf. We played the week after the European Seniors Open and the course was in fantastic condition, the green were exceptionally fast which made 2 putting from distance very difficult and the 20-25mph winds didn't improve things. Overall I though it was a very fair test of golf I would not hesitate to return and would like to try the Kittocks course as well

Thanks to Tee Off Times I purchased an early morning 4ball for £99, £25 each instead of £85.00 each
Beautiful location and course. We timed it perfect and had some sunshine and no rain, wind wasn't too strong ~ 10mph
I missed my 12ft putt on the first for an eagle, living in dreamland and then in the water on the 2nd and back to reality.
Greens and the fairways are in great condition, the first cut of rough wasn't too bad but then after that don't expect to find your ball. The majority of fairways either have drop offs down the cliffs or deep rough so it becomes very easy to lose a ball. I lost 4 but still managed an 86 and enjoyed every second of the experience.

having been gifted an extra free bunkered voucher i played at the Kittocks again yesterday - this is a real cracker of a course - much more scenic than the Torrance and i think with better holes - apart from the unraked bunkers - what was that about - the course was in excellent condition - here's hoping bunkered have the same subscription offer next year!!

A group of 16 of us played here over two days in April 2011, staying in the hotel and playing unlimited golf on the Kittocks and Torrance courses.
Courses are in excellent condition and the views from the holes along the coastline are stunning, particularly when sun is low. Hotel facilities are exceptional (as expected from 5-star) although the service was found wanting on a couple of occasions.
Overall it was an excellent venue for both quality of golf/hotel and value for money (we payed £229 each for two days of golf and two nights B&B).

Played course last weekend on the hottest day of the year so far. Big benefit being all four of us played for nothing thanks to Bunkered magazine yearly subscription via christmas presents. Fantastic course, fantastic setting & views that take your breath away. Just wish the golf had matched the venue but we all enjoyed it a great deal.
