What the club says: The course at Wrotham Heath is short in comparison with many these days, although with many of the tees nestling in the woods and playing to tight undulating fairways the course plays a good deal longer than the yardages would suggest. With spectacular views across Kent, the course offers a challenge to golfers of all abilities.

Superb course

A really good test of your golf. Accuracy at a premium. Some very interesting and thought provoking holes. You really have to be able to work your way round. In fantastic condition with free draining sand base.
Clubhouse and staff very welcoming.

Tremendous course in fabulous condition. Not for the feint-hearted, as it's very hilly and they don't have buggies. Not for the wayward either, plenty of heather and other trouble abound. Take your A game. Excellent food on offer.

Fine golf course

This course is not a long course but course management is the key to a decent round. A reasonable start on !hole 1 and 2 and then a tough turn on 3 & .4 . Overall a tough test of golf on a great shaped golf course . Doubtful to play to your handicap first time out but a great challenge. Superb condition . Cannot fault this gem of kent

Worth a visit!

Lovely course that is well set up. Excellent golf challenge for all handicap ranges (worth attempting white tees as it is a completely different course). Members were especially welcoming and the club staff were ‘top motch’.

Tough going

Course is not long but warrants placement of drives to be able to attack the greens. The greens are tricky as this is the main defence of the course. In great condition and is always a challenge of any golfer

You need to be fairly straight or tress or step drops await you. That said the course was in beautiful condition.

Lovely course

This is a lovely course set in the middle of Kent, among the downs so it is a touch hilly! The condition was terrific: the greens smooth and rolling; the best bunkers we have seen all year; and a good definition between fairway, rough and second cut. The welcome from the Pro Shop and Bar staff was warm and open - good customer service. The downside - the club members. This is an 18 hole course where the 1st and 10th run alongside each other but for some unfathomable reason they insist on having time boards so that people are teeing off both and you have to dovetail. Very problematic and not conducive to a speedy round. I have heard of 6 hour rounds at the weekend!

Super Condition, pretty hard!

Very welcoming, brilliant condition, tricky holes. This is a 'management' course. You don't just open your shoulders, but have to play to positions for a half decent score.
