good winter course
THE COURSE IS IN NEED OF SERIOUS TLC, NOT ENOUGH MAINTENANCE AROUND GREENS AND FAIRWAYS HAS BEEN DONE OVER THE YEARS AND IT SHOWS..ITS A GOOD CHALLENGE TO PLAY WITH TIGHT FAIRWAYS AND EASY TO WALK,

winter has arrived here early, not in good condition, tee off on rough which isn't ideal when the size of the tee didn't think it was necessary. No signature hole I could see. plain really. may take visit in summer and see if it's any better.

could do with better 'next tee' signage and also yardage markers on the fairway. Also, marker posts as quite a few doglegs or blind holes.

Great course
A great course with excellent greens, bunkers and layout. Friendly staff and very welcoming.The quality of the fairways on this occasion were disappointing.

A Mystery
I am not a good golfer which is why I play off 30. My club is Silkstone and I get an additional 9 shots here which is a mystery to me as I found it less tough going. Played in Mizuno pairs in poor weather and course was about as soft as it ever gets. I didn’t score well but I didn’t lose a ball either which is unusual. Greens were good for this time of year. It’s a fair challenge in winter. I would like to try it in summer.Reviewer Rating

Good test of golf
there's a lot to like about Worksop. Course layout is decent, and a fair challenge, and conditioning was very good. Observationally, i think it could be improved with some thinning out of the trees to make some holes less claustrophobic, which would no doubt help get more light to the course as well - Coxmoor close by is a great example as to benefits of this type of action.Reviewer Rating

Loads of bounce and run on the parched fairways, sometimes too much as a good drive bounced into the rough. Greens excellent. Fairway bunkers a little too much sand but nice to have plenty of sand on the bunkers around the greens. Overall very enjoyable with good facilities.
