What the club says: Bondhay Golf Club's two courses feature spectacular design architecture and provide a challenge for players of all handicaps.
Bondhay 18 Hole Championship Course - Described as the only true championship standard course in the region, the 6871 yard, par 72 course dominates the surrounding Nottinghamshire countryside, offering a formidable round of golf with water hazards coming into play on 4 holes.
Bondhay 9 Hole Academy Course - The 9 hole academy par 3 course is perfect for beginners, experienced players honing their skills or for those who don't have time to complete a full round on the main course.

This is a challenging course for high handicappers but it's really enjoyable. Give it a go you'll enjoy it.

As hard as ever, but we love it!
Bondhay is widely regarded as the hardest course in the local area and many shy away from it or call in sick for this round. Wayward shots end up in the trees, but take your medicine and chip out to the fairway and carry on and you can score round here. Try and be Tiger Woods from in the trees and you will get eaten up by this course. Some wonderful holes in 4, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14 and one of the best 18th holes you will play anywhere (which for the first I went for in two yesterday). Pro shop always helpful, food is great and facilities are all there. It would have got a 10 but for some tee off mats and the odd green which still needs to level out and a couple of missing 150 yard markers. We will always come back and love/hate it depending how we play. If you have not played this course, go there and experience it. It is not for high handicappers or those who are wayward, they will hate it. Do it, you know its a must!Reviewer Rating

Still too muddy for me
After a heavy rainy March the course us better than some but still to muddy for me. So e fairways widened by cutting down a lot of trees.Reviewer Rating

Awful
Played the course 18/03/23 and was very very disappointed, the fairways were left incredibly long, no defining cut between fairways and semi rough, the greens were heavily sanded, not rolled and pitted and scarred. Trees have been felled around the greens to let in more sunlight on the greens but they have left two foot ugly stumps as a hazard which looked like a child had been let loose with a birthday chain saw.The food and drinks were good and a special mention to the bar staff for a pleasant service -- the only redeeming feature of the day !
