sUPERB FACILITY IN GREAT CONDITION
loved the layout ,a real challenge. Amazing to think that this course is so close to the city centre, given the expanse of wildlife and deer population. The rough is penal but managed very well so balls can be found if they stray.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 105 Handicap: 18)

Lovely Traditional parkland course
Very enjoyable. Spoke to one of the gents in pro shop a while back who was so nice i made a note to play here on that basis. £30 with a county card is good. Course is nice, the roaming deer are like at Forest of Arden. Greens are lovely, the whole setting is nice we paused a few times to take in the sights. Highlight was when we stood on 6th tee and ALL the deer walked up top cross the fairway in front of us and stopped and waited when the first player stood on the tee.....maybe they learnt their lesson!?(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 97 Handicap: 13.7)

Enjoyable
Nice course layout with some lovely views. Some holes are nice and wide and others you need to do a bit more thinking so it does give good variety for a mixture of abilities.
Was a bit of work ongoing on a couple of holes and I'm sure once that is finished I'm sure it will only improve what is a nice course.

SOCIETY DAY
Several years since we played here. Great golf course in the heart of Nottingham. So quiet and peaceful. As always the course is immaculate and the club catered well for us and were most friendly and helpful.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 24)

Premier Notts City coures
One of the top courses in Nottingham city set within a deer park providing a interesting and varied layout with a slight inland links feel.We played in early March and were slightly disappointed with the conditions and set-up but understand we were playing in winter. The greens had just had maintenance so hopefully by mid March they should be back to the top class best. There was also some additional maintenance work taking place with a few temp tees and a few areas fenced off due to either maintenance work or the deer?
This is a course definitely worth playing and one of the best in Nottingham city but during our visit it didn't quite live up to previous expectations nor the premium winter green fee. Looking forward to going back and would recommend to other golfers.

A tough start to the round on holes 1-6, the exception being the par 3 2nd, with some long par 4s and a par 5, which compared to the rest of the course are perhaps slightly less interesting.
Greens are in excellent condition and the course in general plays firm all year round - playing very well in the winter relative to other courses.
Back nine is a real delight, with far more changes in elevation and varied holes; if playing straight it also offers better chances to make a score. Plenty of wild deer roaming the course add to the interest, and with Wollaton Hall overlooking much of the back nine there are some great views (difficult 14th hole would be my highlight).
Not cheap if not playing with a member, but well worth a twilight visit.

Lovely parkland course
Recently played for the second time in 2 years and still fun to play. Course is well laid out and whilst set within a deer park is somewhat akin to an inland links/heath course. Keep it on the short stuff and you will do okay but stray and you might find yourself in trouble from some of the rough depending on the time of year. Greens have generally been good and in great condition.Would definitely recommend this course, fun to play, provides a challenge and a nice varied layout set within a beautiful park. Watch out for the deer though that often make their way on to the course

Parkland course in a deer park
Lovely course in the city within a deer park which does mean you have to watch out for the deer roaming at time.Nice variety of holes and alwasy well kept with decent greens. Parts of the course in the back 9 are partly exposed so you can get a bit of wind but well worth a visit.
