The Golf Course is a testing 6289 yards and with a par of 71 is a genuine challenge for all handicaps. The ever maturing course was opened in 1992, has its own natural drainage and has rarely closed in its first decade. With Draycote Water lapping the 13th hole, stunning views can be found all year round on the long and truly pleasurable hole.
The signature hole is surely ‘Curlies Corner’. This hole has no room for error. At 184 yards from the medal tee, the green, surrounded by water, has ruined many a good card. The 15th is also a nerve tester, at just 257 yards par 4 and aptly named ‘Temptation’ it has water on both sides of the hole, which needs a good drive and nerve to reach the green from the tee. I thought the course was poor, the greens were too long, the course to short. I hit a part 5 with driver 9 iron. Much better value elsewhere.

This is an okay course which is nicer on the back 9 than the front. The most interesting stretch comes from the 12th through to the 16th, with some tricky lies, great views, and risk and rewards.
The 12th is only a short par 4, but the green slopes sharply away from you and is tough to find. The 13th has great views of Draycote Water, and it's almost impossible to find a flat lie on the fairway. Likewise there are huge slopes on the green towards the water. The 15th is a short par 4 where the decision to make is whether to lay up or try and clear the two ponds in your way, while water comes into play on the tough 16th, a par 3 with an island green.
The remainder of the course is generally unspectacular, although I thought it was all in good condition for the time of year.
The bar is lacking in warmth, and has the feel of a industrial kitchen that has had all of its appliances replaced with a few Ikea tables and chairs.

Stayed here on a £49 DBB and 2 rounds deal. Exceptional value for money. Course interesting especially back 9. Some greens very tricky slopes. Fairways a bit bare in places. Hotel generally very nice although cooked breakfast was cold.

Recently started working in the area and this course popped up on Google - have a great Summer Special offer on currently for a green fee and buggy combo so thought would give it a go. Played with a fellow beginner and an experienced golfer and found the course to be brilliant - loads of variation and tests with plenty of water and the hugh boating lake on one of the holes, Links like, with a ridiculous sloping green making putting a farce (for me) and if you squinted on a sunny day you could be on the French Coast!! Wasnt in the hotel or 19th so cant comment on those but good shop and brand new buggies - all in all a great little course, will become a regular jaunt!

We had an overnight stay at this hotel and it was fantastic value for money.
The thing that realy impressed me was the general manager of the hotel.
He came round and joined us on one of the holes and had a chat.
I found out after he was looking for some people who were messing about on the course and he kicked them off.
The food was exellent and the staff could not do enough for you.
They had great humour as well as beeing very proffessional.
This is a must if you fancy an overnighter.
But the course is worth visiting and playing on its own.

Weekend break booked via internet, excellent value. Two round of golf, bed breakfast and evening meal for just £59, the course is to quality and very scenic. Worth a visit.

This curse offers the lot. a great 18 hole golf course bed and breakfast which is A1, and the staff are so nice.
I have always enjoyed my stay and golf here.

Having just started to take up playing golf, i have played a few rounds at whitefields and extreamly enjoy it. at my stage of my game i find the course challenging and enjoy the views the course has to offer.

Me and five other friends have just got back from a weekend at Whitefields. It cost £65 for D,B & B and two rounds of golf which to all six of us was a bargain and excellent value for money. Considering the winter we have had and the rain over the weekend the course was in good condition although the tee off areas were very poor. For a good golfer probably not to difficult but there is about 9 good holes some with great views and about 9 average un-interesting holes. But overall we enjoyed it and would go back for the D,B,B deal.

Simple course, but enjoyed by experienced and beginners golfers alike. Not long, unlikely to lose many balls.
Played on a golf weekend, organisation from the hotel management left a lot to be desired, but the facilities were good and overall exerience was enjoyable.

Course in pretty good condition, there was a starter when I played who kept things moving and on time. Some challenging holes and greens with some very tight fairways but also some nice open ones where you can let rip. Overall, a decent course and atmosphere.

A good course to play all year round, with only a couple of holes on temp tees / greens in the winter. The rough can be a little long at times on the edge of fairways making finding your ball a bit hard if you miss the fairway.
