I have been a member for 3 years at Wath and its a good course in summer but gets too firm in the dry months. Winter its unplayable and that's the reason I am looking to change clubs in 2016. Would highly recommend visiting the course in may June time but would not recommend making a member if you like to play all year round.

Enjoyable course some testing par 5's, very friendly in pro shop. Good one way system through the club.
Only downside no catering after 2-00 pm in the 19th.

Very quiet day is a Monday here, but no food available.
Course was difficult as usual particularly the par 3's. Greens were fast but were showing damage from the hot weather in places. It has been in better
condition previously when we have played here.

A quiet Sunday morning in October. Weather dull but dry. £35 for a round plus bacon sarnie.
Course is fairly narrow and leaves are a real pain in autumn. Even hen the ball is relatively straight you can lose it under those darn leaves! Fairly challenging course. A couple of bits of water. Short par 3's of which there are five.

Great course appalling food
The course today was in excellent condition for the time of year. We visited it twice a year in our society great it\'s great value for money and always well presented. \We have eaten at the course in past. \Today we gave it another try big mistake, chips pie and peas, plus a sweet. £5 Hardly a culinary challenge. \The pie was mince and poor quality, indeed upon its arrival I made my excuses paid the bill and left. When we question the quality the answer was well it\'s cheap \"exactly\". \\We will certainly play the course again, but under no cercmstances consider eating again in the clubhouse.

Local course that ive never played before but took up the offer of £18.50 a round as its usually around £30. Not the longest but quite a tight course especially with the 25mph winds we had. Greens were lovely. Very slick. Some of the downhill puts ran on 10ft. Not played greens this quick for a while. Some short par 4s and all the pars 3 are mid range. Didnt play that bad but lost alot of strokes around the quick greens and thickish greenside rough. Excellent test

Private members course which is well maintained, so expect to be given a piece of astro turf in the winter to play off. Slightly hilly and a couple of holes hit across each other. A few holes have water involved. Worth a vist if you see an offer.

Quirky hidden gem with great facilities
I had been waiting a long time to play this course having been there twice in winter and been frozen off. The clubhouse, pro shop and practice facilities are surprisingly good and your immediate view of the course make you begin to realise how different it is to other courses. The lay out is intricate with quite a few crossing over holes and fairways, but once you navigate those this course appeals to anyone who likes a thinking course. Greens were great, tee boxes need a bit of work to make them a bit leveler, but that might be being hyper critical. The 5 par 3's are all really interesting and the use of water and different size and shape trees makes for a challenging round. The food in the very nice clubhouse was fine and the pro shop is well stocked with everything you need. Overall, definitely a course to play and one I would return to.Reviewer Rating

Very friendly club, picturesque course easy walking with good variability.

most enjoyable
