The tranquil setting of the course is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the challenges of this testing course with its narrow fairways and small greens.
Many dykes crisscross fairways, making playing for position paramount. Copses again strategically placed reward the golfer who is straight off the Tee. Playing over a pond into a prevailing wind on the 12th hole, to a postage stamp size green, will test the most accomplished player. And if you think that is tough, wait until you arrive at the 15th. A feeling of total satisfaction will be yours when you see your ball land on the 15th green, and not in the water. The 16th hole off the Medal tee must be a most pleasing sight to any golfer who relishes a challenge. The sting is certainly in the tail at Wath Golf Club. The last 5 holes have ruined many a members monthly medal card.
To complement the course, we offer a practice area, putting green, and practice bunker and chipping area.

Very nice course, some great long and short Par 4's. Excellent collection of Par 3's.

This course used to be pretty wet and boggy years ago i heard. I played it in a wet period and it was great. Some long par 4's, some short par 4's and three par 5's. Great stuff, would play again. Oh and they do a winter deal: Bacon Butty to start with, 18 holes then a meal afterwards for £20!!!!!

Private members course which is well maintained, so expect to be given a piece of astro turf in the winter to play off. Slightly hilly and a couple of holes hit across each other. A few holes have water involved. Worth a vist if you see an offer.

I last played this course 4 years ago in the winter, this time early summer and it felt like a completley different course. There are so many different holes on this course and very few are even an easy par. Good challenge and members make you feel welcome. Looking forward to playing this course again.
