Superb

Fantastic course, well worth a visit, greens are like lightning and very true, great layout, only downside is there is a central point where about 6 tees start from, but not a problem, great course and lovely condition

Great Course & Exceptional Greens

As soon as you walk through the car park and see the course for the first time you know you're in for a treat. From the clubhouse view, the course opens up in front of you and looks extremely inviting and well manicured.
The pro in the shop was very welcoming and helped us with locker codes, pin positions and yardage markers.
Everything about the course is exceptional with flat tee boxes, manicured fairways, well raked bunkers and greens that were fast and true. I think the greens were some of the best I've ever played on to be honest. Some of the later holes we played, had just had their greens 'ironed' and were seriously quick. As previous reviewers have mentioned there are a good variety of holes with lots of dog legs and you need to think your way around the course.
We had some food in the clubhouse afterwards which was good value and again the bar staff and catering staff were friendly and helpful. It was good to see lots of people using the clubhouse and there seemed a real sense of community spirit there.

At £25 with a County Card, Walmley Golf Club is tremendous value and I hope to play it again. If I lived closer I'd be even happier to be a member there!

First visit here and will be back. Beautiful parkland course without really a weak hole. Quite a number of doglegs with some holes needing shot management to be on the correct side of the fairway to avoid being blocked out. Greens were not quick but putted really true with some big borrows. Saw more green keeping equipment on most holes than we have on our entire course. Lack of food option on a Sunday pm was only gripe.

This was my first time playing this course and it won't be the last.
The practice putting green is excellent. It was surprisingly quick, but true to the pace of the greens on the course, so the 5 minutes on there really helped get the speed of the putts.
Its an open course, wide enough fairways, but lined with trees. The trees are fair, if you go in them, you have a shot out, but not chance of hitting greens from there.
As mentioned, the greens are quick and not easy to read, but fair.
The course is quite long. There are a couple of par 4s that i couldn't reach in two but actually quite fair off the women's tee (my mum was playing with us).
A few dog leg holes, where course knowledge would help know how far you need to go to see the green and some strategically placed trees on the fairway that Id know now how to avoid.
The bunkers were good quality all round.
An enjoyable and peaceful place to play and a definite course to sample as you won't be disappointed.

A brilliant day all round for me and all my ladies. We were made very welcome on arrival especially by the Pro. The course was amazing and in great condition. My highlight of the day was getting an eagle on the 7th par 4 hole!! It\'s a course for all degrees of handicapers. The evening meal was excellent too. A great day out for all and will certainly return to play again.

Hearsall Seniors chose this course for its Away Day 2014. From the start to the finish you could not wish for a better venue. Excellent organisation before hand and a warm welcome on the day. Food is superb and you will be well looked after. The course has a wide variety of holes and fairly flat for us old timers.

My self and a colleague recently played at Warmley in Birmingham, we were treated to a nice pot of coffee on arrival by a very friendly club captain, thanks Bob, and then met by the golf manager, Tim. We played the course, well i followed a ball around badly, but the course itself was in very good condition, the greens were true and the types of holes would suit a accurate iron player on the first half and then the holes open up a little on the back nine. with different challenges of dog legs, sand and water the course makes out for a good challenging game of golf and is not too demanding on the old legs, recommended.

Although we did not have time to partake of the club facilities and services, we were made very welcome on arrival. The course was in excellent condition and played very fairly. Once off there were no hold ups which helped us get round in plenty of time to get back to our Hotel in time for dinner. Thank You for your excellent hospitality.
