Boldmere Golf Club
Monmouth Drive, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, B73 6JL United Kingdom
Boldmere Golf club was established in 1936 originally as a 9 hole golf course. The club boasts the oldest pro-am event in Europe, with top professionals joining the competition since it began in 1952. A recent score of 57 by M. Morris stands as the lowest round at Boldmere golf club and a 6 under par round at boldmere with all of its challenging par 3's is no mean feat. The par at boldmere is 62 with a total of 4202 yards, although only a short course consisting of 11 par 3's, 6 par 4's and 1 par 5, it is found by all who play here to be a tricky and challenging course due to the length of the long par 3's where many golfers need a wood to reach.
The course is situated on the edge of Sutton Park leading to some rewarding views across the La Reserve lake. Book a Tee Time

Great little course, some diificult par 3's, all greens in good condition and the fairways are closely mown, much more difficult than the par 63 score suggests, very good value for money, definately be back for more!!

For a municipal course its very well kept, the only problem is goose muck on the greens, putting on the one green was more like crazy golf. There are some long and challengin par 3's which are not as easy as they first appear.

Lots of challenging par 3's and practice net for those with 1st tee nerves! Well kept municipal course, a pleasure to play although the slower play of some patrons was frustrating.

Agood value for money course, quite short with plenty of par threes. I found the course to be little boggy but on the whole not to bad at all.

A lot of par 3's over 200yds make it a harder course than it first appears. The greens are nice and need to be read. The clubhouse, although small is clean and friendly, serving nice food at a reasonable price. The only minus points about the course are the amount of divots on the fairway - there are hundreds, and the poor drainage around the middle of the course - get those two things sorted and it will be a cracking short course.

One of the longest courses in the UK for it's par which is 62. This course has 10 par 3's but with over half of them over 200yds it provides a good test.

Shame it's not longer as it's a nice course. A lot of par three's but a few of them at or above the 200 yard mark. Can get a bet soggy n the middle of the back nine. Good food in the club house and very well stocked pro shop.

Has 4 long 200+ yard par 3's and a couple of blind drives thrown in for good measure. At 4202 yards long has to be one of the shortest courses around, but not one of the easiest. Holes have sloping fairways and well placed bunkers that can add a shot or two to your score.

Strange course this as it boasts 10 par 3's!! Although over half of them are over 200yds long. It's a par 62 but you need to plan your way around the course if you want to achieve a decent course. Can get very wet in the winter. Staff are pleasant & facilities are good for a muni.
