Lovely course, some good challenges without punishing you too hard if you're a little off line. Plenty of bunkers & a nice smattering of water to keep you thinking.
The greens were excellent, flat, true & fast.

Considering the rainfall from Storm Eva in the days prior to myself and three friends playing, the course was immaculate with very few saturated areas on the course. Roll on the fairways and greens was consistent - the greens, in particular, being quick for the time of year. The open space on the course forgives poor driving on certain holes but a number of bunkers surrounding most of the greens mean irons require accuracy.

The one aspect of the course we all felt could have provided more of a challenge were the greens. We all encountered a few tricky putts but, on the whole, most putts were straight and flat. A few more undulations on the greens wouldn't have gone amiss and would make the course tougher to play but that was just our personal opinion. That aside, we really enjoyed our first visit to VRA and will probably book again in Spring/Summer.

Also need to mention the staff in the pro shop - extremely helpful both in the booking process and upon arrival.

Best condition course I have played for years. The tee boxes were better quality than some greens on other courses. Fairways and greens immaculate.

Possibly in the top 5 in Cheshire, certainly in the top 10. Great course and great condition. Lots of variety and lots of bunkers. Very enjoyable day

only played this the once and its a fantastic course highly recommeneded, only paid 20.00 on tee off times so was a bargain, front nine much niicer than the back

superb course best ive played in Cheshire by a mile. greens really fast for nov 10th ! every hole different would never get bored playing here !
score 83 handicap 12 !

Well worth a visit

Greens in good nick and at a good speed. The course was more than fair and although I didn’t do it justice I enjoyed the corporate day. Well organised with great hosts.
