Course in excellent condition even after wet weather and also on proper greens, temporary tees only to be expected, overall a bit short but still challenging.

For £13:45 you just can't argue.
The course was well kept althuogh it is a ball eater. A good place to ruin a perfectly good walk with nice lakes and trees to take your mind away.

Not a bad course although a bit boggy in places, would be less muddy if I could stay on the fairways! All in all not a bad course for the money.

A great municipal course, considering the terrible weather recently the course is very playable.

As many others have said this is a good quality municipal course. For the price you pay you couldn't expect much better! Back nine is definately better than the front as the holes have a bit more of variety.

Decent course for a municipal. Interesting layout and quite tough as the par is low. Greens are fairly good and the green fees are a bargain. Can get a little wet and boggy in the winter.
Good course for the money.

Excellent considering it's a municipal. Green really nice, bargain course for £10.50! Some narrow holes with plenty of danger, a couple of the SIs seem strange.

I play this municipal course quite regularly & it is excellent value for money. There is never any problem in getting a tee time during the day. It's not the most challenging course & the greens are a bit slow compared to private courses, but at these prices who is complaining?

Nice 'Municipal' Golf course.
Holes are laid out quite well accross parkland.
Extremely cheap round, and well worth the money, the only downside is that the course can be quite busy with less than proficient players (not an issue for me however).
Friendly and simple club facilities, made to feel very welcome.
Due to the fact its a parkland course some of the holes do tend to feel as if they were laid out based on the land, rather than to a course plan, but even so they play well and some excellent views on the way back in.
I will certainly go back again.

Not well cared for. I advise playing with an orange ball, there are that many daisies, you spend alot of your time looking for your ball, even on the fairway!!
It is not a very well planned out course and is very confusing for the first timer. I went for nine holes, played the first three ok. Played the completely wrong hole for the fourth and got totallly disorientated. Gave it up as a bad job, and played the ninth on my way back to the clubhouse.Even the map of the course on the scorecard is no help. wouldn't go on my own again, unless i've played a few rounds with someone who knows the course

A good 18 hole municipal course, many natural obstacles to overcome. Can be boggy in winter.
