Set in 120 acres of historic parkland, this 6,312 yard, par 71 golf course is both challenging and rewarding. A host to EuroPro Tour events, Ufford Park has excellent drainage enabling it to be open virtually all year round and was recently voted in Today's Golfer's Top 40 winter courses in Great Britain. Whatever your reason for a round you will certainly appreciate the many features which have been retained from the original, natural undulating parkland. Eleven water hazards exist, including a large reservoir which is used for green, tee and fairway watering.

Start of course is a little boring but the course improves and there are some really super holes once the terrain becomes hilly and the beautiful water features come into play. For a relatively new course this has developed a lot of character and the day we played we pretty well had it to ourselves (it helps to go out just before lunch!)

Great course, but the greens had been scarified and sanded, so made the whole round disapointing. If we had known the state of the greens we would have waited another week.

Some tough holes followed by some straightforward ones means that it's a pretty fair test.
Patchy fairways and scruffy tees is what I took away from my round though - the greens were OK and I had no unwanted bobbles.
This course may look much better in the summer but to me it seemed like there had been too much play from 'hackers' who don't bother repairing their divots. A summer round may be more enjoyable.

Course was in good nick, fairways were a bit patchy in places, but to be expected with the hot weather. Greens were fantastic and true. Challenging golf course in places and overall an enjoyable experience.

a really good course, despite the hot weather we have had over the last 2 1/2 months the fairways were in pretty good nick. greens were in good condition and challenging. hospitallity was good and on site golf store was handy and helpful. £20.00 after 2pm, what more can i say. one of the best courses i have played.

this was my first time playing here,i got a warm wecome from all the staff. i spoke to some members on the coarse and they were very polite and nice. overy all a very good day and will be going back again soon

Played on a wet and miserable day, but despite the weather the course was in excellent condition. Challenging, but not impossible to play to your handicap. Very friendly and helpful staff in the well-stocked pro shop and what a nice guy at the golf reception. Looking forward to going back some day.
